    Abstract: An electronic system is described that is responsive to non-verbal commands. The system may include a display component for presenting visual content to a user and an audio system, such as an in-ear or over-the-ear speaker system. The speaker system may be equipped with a bone conduction sensor or in-ear microphone that generates data associated with vibrations of a facial region of the user. The system may use the data to detect non-verbal command in the form of grunts, hums, coughs, tongue clicks, and the like. The system may perform various predetermined operations based on the detected vibrations.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a vibration transducer including a circuit board enclosing a receiving cavity, a MEMS chip, a first vibration unit having a first vibration cavity and a second vibration unit having a second vibration cavity. A first through hole provided on the circuit board is configured to connect the receiving cavity with the first vibration cavity; a second through hole provided on the circuit board is configured to connect the receiving cavity with the second vibration cavity. The first vibration unit vibrates to cause pressure change in the first vibration cavity which is transmitted to the MEMS chip through the first through hole; the second vibration unit vibrates to cause pressure change in the second vibration cavity which is transmitted to the MEMS chip through the second through hole. The vibration transducer in the present disclosure has higher sensitivity and SNR.

    Abstract: Electronic stethoscopes may have various accessories, modular components, and various configurations for powering the various components and accessories of the electronic stethoscope. In one embodiment, an electronic stethoscope apparatus includes a microphone configured to generate an electrical signal in response to received sound from a living subject; amplification circuitry; a speaker operably coupled to the amplification circuitry to output the electric signal after amplification; and a power supply configured to power the amplification circuitry. Circuitry for advanced signal processing may also be included, such as noise cancelling circuitry. The electronic stethoscope may also include removable electronic modules for wired or wireless headphones, battery packs, lights, and/or an electronic device for implementing the percussive method. An electronic stethoscope may also include components for implementing a laser enhanced stethoscope that can be used to pick up sounds from the surface of a living subject without making direct contact with the living subject.

    Abstract: A bone conduction microphone is provided. The bone conduction microphone may include a laminated structure formed by a vibration unit and an acoustic transducer unit. The bone conduction microphone may include a base structure configured to carry the laminated structure. At least one side of the laminated structure may be physically connected to the base structure. The base structure may vibrate based on an external vibration signal.     Abstract: The present invention relates to a telemedicine stethoscope device that facilitates remote medical consultations by enabling the transmission of bodily sounds from a patient to a healthcare provider through an electronic device. The device consists of a skin contact element designed to establish a secure interface with the patient's skin, a walled structure that connects the skin contact element to a base, and a detachable coupling mechanism incorporated into the base for removably attaching the device to an electronic device. A diaphragm membrane, made of a flexible material and positioned orthogonally within the path between two openings, forms a sound chamber with the hollow space to effectively transmit sound vibrations from the patient's skin through the device to the microphone of the electronic device.

    Abstract: A system is disclosed for detecting and correlating percussive sounds with previously identified spectral signatures of a plurality of events so as to notify a user of an occurrence of a particular event. The system may include a sensor component which includes a piezoelectric transducer at a periphery of the sensor component for coupling with a surface and converting percussive sounds from the surface into an electrical signal. The sensor component may also include a local processor configured to produce a data signal based on the electrical signal, and a communication device for sending the data signal to a remote processor. The system may also include a remote processor configured to receive the data signal and compare the data signal to at least one reference signal and send a notification to a user based at least in part on the data signal correlating to at least one reference signal.
