摘要: The invention includes an air mover device used for fire mitigation and protection. The core component is an air mover unit whose discharge airstream can be positioned using air rudders and/or a directional control assembly to provide air flows in optimum directions and capacity to counter unwanted fire progression or to promote fires in cases of back-burns. Additional support components include a power supply, its fuel source, a speed control mechanism for the air mover, an air mover inlet protective screen, a sparger unit to impart suppressant or retardant into the airstream, balancing feet, a removable nozzle, and instrumentation and controls to ensure function and safety of equipment and personnel. This device can be on a static or mobile platform, towed or self-propelled and can be locally or remotely controlled.

摘要: A system and method for extinguishing wildfires with the assistance of soundwaves at a distance is provided. The system generally comprises a camera, output device, waveguide, processor, power supply, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon that instruct the processor to perform operations of the system. In one preferred embodiment, a database may be operably connected to the processor and store any data associated with a combustion reaction therein. In some preferred embodiments, the system may comprise a computing device having a user interface, which may present, to a user, data that may inform the user about a particular combustion reaction and/or allow the user to control the system remotely. The system and method are designed to safely stop wildfires without a resource that must be spent and subsequently replenished.

摘要: A system for controlling and containing wildfires comprises a transport unit that is configured to transport the system to a site of a wildfire. At least one fluid-spraying apparatus is configured to spray and blow fluid at the wildfire for control and containment thereof. At least one linkage device is configured to movingly link the transport unit to a corresponding fluid-spraying apparatus. The transport unit is configured to control operation of the transport unit, linkage device, and fluid-spraying apparatus. The linkage device is configured to move with respect to the transport unit and the fluid-spraying apparatus is configured to move with respect to the linkage device such that the fluid can be sprayed multi-directionally for control and containment of the wildfire.

摘要: In some embodiments, a fire fighting device can include: (a) a blower portion with an air input region and an air output region; (b) at least one container configured to hold a fire suppressing solution; (c) first piping; (d) a first pump mechanically coupled to the at least one container and configured to at least partially pump the fire suppressing solution from the at least one container into the first piping at a first pressure; (e) a second pump coupled to the first piping, the second pump is configured such that the second pump increases a pressure in at least a part of the first piping from the first pressure to a second pressure, the second pressure is greater than the first pressure; and (f) two or more nozzles located at the blower portion and mechanically coupled to the first piping such that the two or more nozzles are configured to emit the fire suppressing solution. The radiator cools the fumes down from the engine or chemical store. This is a system that uses the fumes to cool the fire down, it will suck the heat and oxygen away, and replace it with a non-combustible gas. This system can also be used to put out architectural fires, by blowing the fumes in the building from one side, keeping oxygen from entering the building, by building up pressure, until no more oxygen can enter the building.

摘要: In the fire location, an ambient or atmospheric air mass flow (been a gas mixture of dry air and superheated water vapor) is compressed by a compression package. A hose transports this compressed air mass flow a given distance away up to a flames site, where an arrangement of pipes, elbow accessories, throttle valves, nozzles, and a distribution manifold, conforming together a fire fight boom with a “blast-gun”, allow the operator to direct upon the flames, a high speed ambient air jet containing water droplets with a high flame front aerodynamic penetration capability, which brings about the flames blown off and remaining not burned materials combustion inhibition. Such a high speed air jet containing water droplets is generated by the compressed air mass flow expansion in a jacketed convergent-divergent nozzle, whereinto a condensation sock wave is established producing such water droplets from the local ambient air water vapor contents. The air jet proximity to the flames' origin is important, and the operator's movements can be controlled by a wheel, a pneumatic cylinder, supports, and pivoted anchors. To preclude, in this process, the inflammation of surrounding non burning materials and the existence of run-away flame fronts, different aerodynamic flame containment mechanisms are formed by other air jets produced in convergent nozzles air expansions. To allow the low temperatures required and the successful establishment of the condensation shock wave, a cooling air flow insulates, from the hot flame environment, the air flow expansion in the jacketed convergent-divergent nozzle. The aspersion mechanism formed by the air mass flow expansion, is utilized also to deliver different chemical fire fight agents to the flames sites with a high flame front penetration capability.
