Abstract:
[Object] To provide a trigger-type pump dispenser A which is configured such that a trigger section 13 is depressed by a thumb with a handle gripped, which is good in grippability, which allows efficient transmission of finger pressure to the trigger section 13 during spraying, and which is excellent in operation.[Solution] The present invention is directed to a trigger-type pump dispenser including: a cylinder section; a handle section 12; a trigger section 13 located above the handle section 12; and a nozzle section 4 from which liquid is sprayed out of the cylinder section by depressing the trigger section 13 with the handle section 12 gripped, wherein the handle section 12 has a finger contact portion S located posterior to a point of force of the trigger section 13.
Abstract:
A trigger head for a dispensing device for at least two substances including a pumping system to compress the substances separately and simultaneously before dispensing.
Abstract:
A container which in this case is a pump action bottle 10 has a container body 11 and a lid 12 including a pump portion 13 a nozzle 14 a trigger 15 and a neck section, shown generally at 16. It has an accessory in with a cloth keeper 17 clipped to the neck by reason of resilient legs 18, 19 which have a narrow entrance at 20 and an internal spacing slightly less than the outside diameter of the neck 16. Thus in the usual way of clips of this kind it may be pushed onto the neck and snap into position. The keeper 17 has a cylindrical eyelet 21 so that a rag 22 may be drawn from below through the eyelet and as the rag gathers it will wedge in position. The rag may be easily removed simply by pulling downward in the direction of arrow 23. The rag may be kept with the bottle when stored.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to fluid dispensing devices for use in dispensing different liquids (e.g., bleach and bleach activator) from a bottle having first and second compartments. To minimize the presence of mixed composition residually present within the fluid dispensing device, it may be helpful to delay mixing. Separate dip tubes may be provided to pull liquid from the separate compartments, each with its own separate pump. Each pump may deliver the separate compositions to a spray nozzle of the device through separate delivery tubes (e.g., from the pumps to the nozzle). In other embodiments, a single delivery tube, and/or a single pump may be provided, e.g., where the volume of mixed composition that may be present in such pump and/or delivery tube may be sufficiently small so as to still provide overall desired efficacy characteristics. Dual delivery tube configurations may eliminate any need to prime the device by spraying out old, residual mixed composition.
Abstract:
A container includes a reservoir holding a non-pressurized product. A metering device and valve assembly are within the reservoir. The valve assembly includes a product intake conduit and a spring biased valve stem. The valve stem is at least one of an upwardly extending conduit or reciprocating conduit, which is in fluid communication with the product intake conduit.
Abstract:
One aspect of the invention provides a component 112, 165 for a fluid dispenser 110 which defines a dosing chamber 120 for a piston member 114 to stroke in and has an end 160 adapted for engaging a fluid outlet 152 of the fluid dispenser or a seal 154 which overlies the fluid outlet 152 to selectively close and open the fluid outlet 152 or seal 154. Other aspects are disclosed herein.

Abstract:
A foam pump having a flexible member for engagement with a dispenser, the pump being part of a refill unit including a product reservoir. The flexible connecting member extends from an extreme end of the pump and is received by an actuating carriage that is movably connected to an actuating mechanism. The flexible connecting member permits insertion of the pump into a dispenser, and may act to dampen actuating forces to reduce foam shearing. The flexible connecting member may be provided in the form of a flared tip that is received through an oval opening in the product dispenser, and the pump may include a locking member to prevent unwanted actuation thereof during insertion of the refill unit into the dispenser.
Abstract:
A nebuliser micro-pump (1) provided with an element (2) for covering and triggering its dispensing push-button (3), has an elongated body (5) with central axis (x), whereon is mounted a dispensing push-button complete with a tube (4) for orienting the spray, rotatable around the axis. The element has a lower fixed half-shell (12) integral with the elongated body and a lower half-shell (17) movable around a hinging axis (y) that is perpendicular to the central axis and offset relative thereto at the opposite side from the tube. The upper half-shell has a protuberance (20) acting on the dispensing push-button in the rotation of the movable half-shell relative to the fixed half-shell according to the arrow (W). The half-shells (12, 17) have respective through openings (15, 23) wherefrom simultaneously projects the tube in two angular positions, one non operative and the other one operative for the micro-pump.
Abstract:
A bifurcated stem foam pump for use in foam dispensers. An air compressor portion of the bifurcated pump is attached to and maintained as a portion of the dispenser housing. A portion of the pump for transferring liquid and including a portion for generating foam is sealingly attached to and provided as a portion of a replaceable liquid-containing cartridge in the foam dispenser. The two portions mate and form a completed pump assembly operative for generating foam from the liquid of the cartridge when the cartridge is placed within the dispenser housing and the two pump portions are mated. The air compressor portion includes a collar having an air piston reciprocatingly received therein. The collar is attached to the dispenser housing. A collar receiving a hollow stem pump is attached to the liquid cartridge. Actuation of the air piston correspondingly actuates the stem pump such that air and liquid are forced together in the stem pump and through a foam generating member.
