摘要: In an air conditioner for a vehicle including a vehicle roof capable of opening, there are provided a driver seat and a passenger seat which are provided at right and left sides in a vehicle compartment, plural conditioned-air blowoff ports provided for the driver seat and the passenger seat respectively, and an air conditioning control device operative to adjust respective characteristics of conditioned air for the driver seat and the passenger seat, separately. Accordingly, needs of each passenger on the driver seat and the passenger seat during a vehicle driving with the vehicle roof open can be attained, thereby improving comfortableness of air conditioning.

摘要: A vehicle air-conditioning duct 1 according to the present invention has an oblong cross-sectional configuration. The air-conditioning duct 1 comprises a top wall 16, a bottom wall 18 and side walls 12, 14 enclosing an interior space and at least one constriction 22, 24 formed by a projection protruding from at least one of the top wall 16 and the bottom wall 18 into the air-conditioning duct 1 so as to connect the top wall 16 with the bottom wall 18. The constriction 22, 24 continuously extends in an air flow direction so that cross-sectional areas of the constriction 22, 24 are constant in the air flow direction.

摘要: A heating and/or air-conditioning system for vehicles, preferably passenger vehicles, has a central air-conditioning and/or air-conveying device for conditioning and/or conveying air. In order to achieve optimum air conditioning of the vehicle interior and sufficient freedom of the windows from misting with the most effective energy use possible, the air within the vehicle interior is fed so that, for example, outside air and circulating air are fed into the vehicle interior through dedicated air inlet openings and removed from the vehicle interior through dedicated air outlet openings. The air is guided on closed flow paths in order to achieve separation of circulating air and outside air.

摘要: An apparatus for ventilating the cabin of a locomotive wherein the ducts serve both a ventilating and a structural function. Horizontal duct provides support for floor in place of one or more of the regularly spaced joists. Horizontal duct may include stringers recessed into sound absorbing insulation within the duct. Vertical duct is formed in part from a portion of a wall of the control compartment of the locomotive cabin, thereby eliminating the need for separate wall sections. The space saved by using such structures for dual purposes may be used to increase the cross-sectional area of the ventilating apparatus, thereby allowing the speed of fan to be reduced to provide the desired ventilation at a reduced level of sound.

摘要: An air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle for air conditioning only a zone adjacent a person sitting on a seat. A bottom duct 62 has inlets 60 which are located laterally of a sitting part 50 of the seat, and a top duct 70 has an outlet 72 located above a head rest portion 58 of the seat. Arranged in the bottom duct 62 is a blower fan 74, evaporator 78 and heater 80. The rotation of the fan 74 causes the air to be sucked into the duct 62 via the inlets 60, and is subjected to the heat exchange with the evaporator 78 and the heater 80 to obtain a desired temperature of the air. The air is discharged downwardly from the top outlet 72 to the bottom inlet 60, so that air flows for air conditioning are crated along an area only around the person sitting on the seat.

摘要: A two part ventilated seat cover for a motor vehicle seat, comprising a seat portion cushion and a seat back cushion. The two cushions are separated and mutually attached by a bulkhead. The bulkhead prevents air flow between the respective cushions. The cushions are equally sized to help equalize air flow thereto and therefrom. Elastic straps are provided to each cushion to facilitate attachment to the vehicle seat. Air is drawn into the system through an air pick up, then passes through a flexible conduit which branches into two secondary conduits. Each secondary conduit is preferably of equal cross section, each supplying one cushion with equal air flow. Each cushion is perforated only at a respective surface contacting the user, and air is discharged therethrough. Adequate supply of air to each respective cushion is assured by the branched supply conduit, and by separation of air flow within the respective cushions, as effected by the bulkhead. In alternative embodiments, air is obtained from the vehicle ventilation system and from a self-powered fan. In the latter case, the fan is integral to the air pick up.
