摘要: A submersible vehicle of diverse use that eliminates the compartments of ballast, and at the same time, has a horizontal displacement system and new direction. The vehicle includes a water pump adapted to generate a flow of water; an admission duct to receive the flow generated by the water pump, the water pump impels the flow of water downward to a circular duct located at the admission duct producing a high speed current; a secondary unit of propulsion for helping with the horizontal displacement of the vehicle, the secondary propulsion comprises four nozzles installed at 90° on top or side of the vehicle, the nozzles receive the flow generated by the water pump, and the exit of the flow produces the horizontal displacement; at least one electromagnetic valve installed before each nozzle, each electromagnetic valve controls the exit flow independently, wherein each electromagnetic valve is controlled by the pilot of the vehicle, wherein different combinations of exit flow produce different combinations of impulse in the four nozzles which provide the horizontal displacement in any direction; a cockpit for transporting passengers; a protective cover installed under the cockpit, the double circular cover protects the circular wing and directs the flow to the inferior part of the vehicle. The maneuverability and stability of the vehicle can be changed by changing the angle of attack of each section of the circular wing.

In one embodiment, a submersible vehicle includes a body having a pair of outwardly projecting at least partially arcuate wings, an adjustably positionable wing steering flap hingeably attached to each wing, at least one wing flap actuator coupled to the hull and to the wing steering flaps to controllably adjust the position of the wing steering flaps, an adjustably positionable hingeable tail steering flap attached to the hull, and at least one tail flap actuator coupled to the hull and to the tail steering flap to controllably adjust the position of the tail steering flap. The arcuate wings provide improved stability and maneuverability characteristics of the vehicle. In alternate embodiments, a vehicle may include arcuate wings having a swept leading edge or a swept trailing edge, or both. In another embodiment, a vehicle has a tow assembly attached to the hull and coupleable with a tow cable for towing the vehicle behind a surface vessel or for launching and recovery of the vehicle. 摘要: Submersible boat is capable of navigating both on the water surface and submerged, the diving taking place by dynamic effect when the operator requires it, the boat having a catamaran type structure, comprising two side floats which are maintained partially under the water-line while its cabin is kept totally above the water-line when the boat navigates at the water surface. Fins situated between the floats provide for the steerability of the boat, both submerged and at the water surface, while the thrust is generated by a pair of propellers situated at the lower end of the floats and actuated by diesel engines when the boat navigates on top of the water or is submerged in shallow waters, but in deep waters the engines are substituted by electric motors run by batteries.

摘要: An agile water vehicle for travel above and below the water surface, incls a hull having therein a helmsman's compartment, a payload compartment, and a propulsor unit. A rudder assembly is fixed to the hull and includes a cylindrically-shaped (or slightly tapered) tubular member having a rudder thereon and extending therefrom, the tubular member being rotatable. A wing assembly is fixed to and spaced from a bottom portion of the hull, the wing assembly comprising a pair of wings extending widthwise of the axis of the hull, and a flap adapted for disposal in each of the wings and extendible therefrom, the flaps being operable for pivotal movement upwardly and downwardly from the wings. The propulsor unit, the rudder assembly, and the flaps are operable from the helmsman's compartment. A pair of propulsors are disposed on the wings and are rotatable around the spanwise axis of the wings. A pair of differential flaps are mounted on a rotatable axial cylinder or ring with a fixed divider plate therebetween.

摘要: The sail or mast of a submarine is provided with means to overcome the tendency of the submarine to roll as a consequence of wave action, heaving and during turns. Submarine stabilization is preferably accomplished by means of a plurality of rudders at the trailing edge of the sail. The upper rudders provide the force required to compensate for roll, but introduce a steering component. The lower rudders turn in the opposed direction to about an equal degree to cancel out the steering component introduced by the upper rudder. Rudder compensation for roll may be augmented or supplanted by the use of fluid ejection ports vertically disposed along the port and starboard sides of the sail in the vicinity of the trailing edge of the sail.
