Abstract: A method and an apparatus (1, 11, 21, 31) for moving one or more loads (5, 15, 25, 35a, 35b,45), in which method loads are moved along a channel (2, 12, 22, 32a, 32b, 49, 49′) on or in fluid, wherein the channel (2, 12, 22, 32a, 32b, 49, 49′) extending substantially horizontally in lengthwise direction has a cross-section, which cross-section defines an open section (13, 33a, 33b) and a closed section (14, 34a, 34b), wherein the fluid in the open section is directly in contact with surrounding air, and the fluid in the channel can flow from the open section to the closed section and vice versa through opening or openings located below the surface level of the fluid in the open section, and the load or loads (5, 15, 25, 35a, 35b, 45) are moved by floating them at least partially inside the closed section.

Abstract: The disclosed invention is directed to a watercraft which comprises at least one main force member attached to at least one wing; the main force member and/or wing and/or a float attached to the wing comprise sufficient displacement to provide flotation for the craft and its payload. Connected to the main force member is a force transmitting member, to which the engine is connected. The engine may comprise a person or another engine (conventional, electronic, wind, etc.). The engine may comprise a weight which undergoes vertical translation, thereby producing the force transmitted by the force transmitting member to the main force member.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a high-speed sealift system which meets the requirement of the 21st century. In the 21st century, the indispensable requisites for a commercial sealift system that is to be deployed across the five oceans are high speed and stability. The present invention relates to a high-speed sealift system which operates at the super-high speed of 40 knots to 70 knots, and which is capable of the marine transport, in a quick and safe manner, of perishable goods, expensive capital goods, goods the volume or weight of which result in them being incapable of being transported via the air, strategic military goods, and capable of the large-scale redeployment of forces, and particularly, parts or equipment and materials which require a timely arrival. The sealift system of the present invention operates by means a marine transportation principle in which elevation force, found from Newton's law of physics that indicates that “the change of momentum of a body is proportional to the impulse impressed on the body,” is applied to tires. When a planning gear of the high-speed sealift system is lowered to enable tires to contact water at a speed higher than a predetermined threshold speed, the elevation force corresponding to the distribution weight of the system is generated at the contact surfaces of the tires, such that the system travels on the water at the travel speed of the tires. That is, the transportation effects of the system are the same as those achieved when a vehicle travels at a high speed on a highway with the tires thereof on the ground. According to one embodiment of the present invention, in which a 2000 ton high-speed sealift system is designed in accordance with the marine transportation principle of the present invention, the system is propelled by two 55,000 horsepower water jet pumps when traveling at a maximum high speed of 65 knots, while a total of 80 tires including 16 front tires and 64 rear tires support the weight of the system on the water at a speed of 5 knots or higher by planning components.

Abstract: A motion generating system for propelling and/or lifting a craft exploiting explosive and implosive processes, whereby a propulsive or lifting force on the craft arises from two sources: generation of a stream of fluids which imparts thrust to the craft; and generation of zones of reduced pressure and density in front of and above the craft allowing the craft to be thrust forward and lifted by ambient pressure on the rear and underside of the craft. Furthermore, reduction of fluid density in front of the craft results in a reduction of frontal drag allowing the attainment of higher speeds. The motion generating system may have other applications; for example, the motion generating system may be used to propel a stream of liquid in the manner of a pump.
