Abstract:
A device for opening and closing a pivoting wing, comprising: a stationary support intended to be attached to a fixed frame, a slide movable relative to the stationary support along a rectilinear direction between an open wing position and a closed and locked wing position, a pivoting arm articulated to the stationary support about an articulation axis, and having a distal end intended to be connected to the wing, a transmission mechanism associated with the slide and the arm, comprising an essentially L-shaped cam engaged by a control pin, the transmission mechanism being configured to transform the rectilinear movement of the slide along said rectilinear direction into a pivoting movement of the arm about said pivot axis.
Abstract:
A door hinge for recessed installation between an edge of a door panel and a door jamb has first and second leaf assemblies that each form a cavity and are recessed in the door-panel edge and in the door jamb and a pair of U-section links pivoted centrally together about a center axis and each having a first end and a second end engaged in the cavities of the respective first and second leaf assemblies. The first end of one of the links and the second end of the other link are pivoted about respective vertical axes fixed in the respective leaf assemblies and the second end of the one link and the first end of the other link are pivotal about another respective vertical axis and horizontally shiftable in a respective guide of the respective leaf assemblies.
Abstract:
An appliance lid hinge assembly has a channel housing including first and second spaced-apart side walls and a transverse face walls, a cavity located between the first and second side walls and a slot having first and second slot portions respectively located in said first and second side walls. The channel housing is pivotally connected to a cam via a rivet or other pivot fastener at a pivot point. A biasing element acts between the housing and the cam in order to control the movement of housing relative to the cam about the pivot point. Alternatively, a damper can be used to control movement of the housing relative to the cam about the pivot point. A snubber subsystem can also be added to provide further damping resistance.
Abstract:
A hinge for a movable furniture part fastened to a body of a piece of furniture is proposed, the hinge having a first fastening part which is attachable to the body and which is connected pivotably via a joint mechanism to a second fastening part attachable to the movable furniture part, the joint mechanism comprising articulated levers mounted via axes of articulation. According to the invention, a further pivotably mounted lever is present, which, during a complete as-intended pivoting movement of the hinge, is temporarily coupled to a guide portion on the hinge, the further lever acting upon a damper arrangement of the hinge.
Abstract:
A door closer for doors, particularly glass doors, which are supported by a stationary support structure and are movable between an open door position and a closed door position. The door closer comprises a box-shaped body and a pin reciprocally coupled to rotate around a first axis between the open door position and the closed door position. A closing mechanism causes the door to return automatically and a braking mechanism counteracts the action of the closing mechanism. First and second cam elements are unitary with the pin and interposed between a first and second plunger elements acting thereon.
Abstract:
A hinge apparatus for a cover of an image forming apparatus has a hinge body with supporting brackets, movably inserted into a coupling hole positioned in a main body of the image forming apparatus, a hinge cam connected to the cover and pivotably connected to the supporting brackets, and a pressure device disposed at the hinge body to press the hinge cam. Accordingly, the hinge apparatus can be implemented with a simple and easy assembly operation, since it is not a complicated structural connection among the component parts of the hinge apparatus.
Abstract:
A door closure structure for a rotary door and a side-by-side refrigerator comprising the same are provided. The door closure structure comprises: a slide passage formed in an upper end surface of the rotary door; a hinge assembly comprising a hinge body, a hinge plate and a hinge shaft; and a swing plate extended in a lateral direction, a first end of the swing plate pivotably connected to a front end of the hinge body, an angle between the swing plate and the upper end surface of the rotary door ranging from 0 to 90°; a spring having two ends connected to the swing plate and the front end of the hinge body respectively; and a roller rotatably disposed at a second end of the swing plate to catch into or roll out of the slide passage following a movement of the swing plate.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an actuator, including at least one pivotably supported actuating arm for moving a furniture flap. The actuating arm is or can be acted on by a spring device, and a retaining clip is proposed for the empty actuating arm on which no furniture flap is mounted yet. The retaining clip prevents accidental opening or deflecting of the empty actuating arm and for this purpose includes a brake or detent device which can be moved by a shaft (R). A transmission gear is provided by which the pivot speed of the actuating arm can be geared to a higher rotational speed of the shaft (R) at least over a region of the pivot travel of the actuating arm in the open direction.
Abstract:
An improved top pin assembly is provided for a traffic door which is side-mountable to the door without the necessity of integrated the top pin assembly within the interior of the door panel.
Abstract:
A hinge support includes a brace, a trestle, and a positioning device. The brace includes a base wall and a first side wall, a second side wall, and a positioning wall that extend from the base wall. The first side wall has a first sloped surface, and the second side wall has a second sloped surface. The trestle includes a top wall and a third side wall, a fourth side wall, and a support wall that extend from the top wall. The third side wall has a third sloped surface, and the fourth side wall has a fourth sloped surface. The positioning device is supported by the support wall and positioned to abut the positioning wall to mount the trestle to the brace. The third sloped surface slides along the first sloped surface and the fourth sloped surface slides along the second sloped surface under control of the positioning device.
