摘要： A solenoid device includes a plunger driven in an axial direction, a wall portion arranged to oppose the plunger in the axial direction, and a respiratory pore cover covering an opening of a respiratory pore of the wall portion. A volume variable chamber is defined between the plunger and the wall portion. The respiratory pore cover defines a communication space communicated to the respiratory pore, and an opening which causes the communication space to communicate with an exterior space. A volume of the communication space is larger than a predetermined volume of fluid that flows through the respiratory pore from or into the volume variable chamber by a predetermined movement of the plunger.

摘要： An activation device for a protection device includes: a body with a chamber that has, respectively at first and second ends, a medium inlet opening to a medium storage and a valve opening, and an outlet opening for discharging the medium into the protection device between the first and second ends; a valve for opening and closing the valve opening for passage of the medium; and a piston that (a) includes a passage along a main extension axis, from a first surface thereof adjacent to the medium inlet opening, to a second surface thereof, larger than the first surface and adjacent to the valve opening, and (b) is movable in the chamber by the medium and as a function of the control valve position between a position in which the at least one outlet opening is closed and a position in which the at least one outlet opening is opened.

摘要： A sealed solenoid provides an improved actuator for valves and other devices, particular such devices used in extreme environments and/or with corrosive media. For example, the improved solenoid construction can be used to drive a precision flow control valve used in air and space applications, such as to control fuel and oxidizer combustion media in rocket and other thrust components. The solenoid is retained in a solenoid retainer to which is attached a rigid barrier that isolates the solenoid pole piece and coil from the media. A clapper disposed outside the barrier from the solenoid serves as the armature, receiving magnetic flux from the solenoid through the barrier without interference from the barrier. The barrier may be extremely thin and magnetically inert.

摘要： Flapper assemblies for torque motors of electrohydraulic valves are provided. The flapper assembly comprises a flapper having an upper end portion configured for coupling to an armature and armature-flapper support of the torque motor and a lower end portion having a socket therein. A hemispherical closure member having a flat diametrical face configured to seal against a nozzle outlet is disposed for oscillatory movement in the socket. A retaining clip is slidably mounted about the lower end portion and has a retention opening exposing the flat diametrical face and sized to retain the hemispherical closure member in the socket. The torque motor comprises the armature coupled to the armature-flapper support, the flapper assembly, and a plurality of coils. The electrohydraulic valve comprises the torque motor and a nozzle configured to be in fluid communication with the flapper assembly when the electrohydraulic valve is in an open position.

摘要： A normally open solenoid operated modular valve includes a solenoid body receiving a coil and pole piece. A polymeric material valve body portion is releasably connected to the solenoid body. An armature/valve member slidably disposed in both the solenoid body and the valve body portion has a male threaded end shank. A polymeric material thread-in poppet/valve member includes an internal threaded portion engaging the male threaded end shank to retain the thread-in poppet/valve member on the armature/valve member. A resilient material valve ring is retained on the thread-in poppet/valve member. A cylindrical tube portion receives an armature/valve member rod portion. A biasing member acts against the armature/valve member and thereby acts to normally bias the valve ring away from contact with a valve seat surface created in the valve body portion defining a modular valve normally open position.
