Abstract: Electropneumatic solenoid valve includes an electromagnetic actuator with an energizable coil and a solenoid armature movable relative to the coil, an air chamber with three air channels, and a valve member. The three air channels include first and second air channels and a control air channel. The valve member, in a first closed position, closes the first air channel and releases the second air channel and which, in a second closed position, closes the second air channel and releases the first air channel. The valve further includes a driver movable in a first and second actuating directions and that connects the valve member to the solenoid armature, a driver-pretensioning spring arranged between the driver and the solenoid armature, to provide a pretensioning force to the driver, and a restoring spring between the driver and the electromagnetic actuator to provide a restoring force to the driver against the driving direction.

Abstract: A valve device has a valve housing (10), in which fluid ports (P, A, T) are provided and in which at least one valve piston (12, 14) can be moved longitudinally. The valve piston either separates at least two of the fluid ports (P, A, T) from one another or interconnects them as a function of its travel position. At least one latching device (16, 18) is provided for each valve piston (12, 14) for the detachable fastening of the respective valve pistons (12, 14) in one of its travel positions. Each latching device has at least one latching means (20), which can be brought into a latching position (22). Abstract: A valved manifold module is disclosed, constructed and arranged to be readily connected in a chain with similar modules to form a manifold assembly. The modular manifolds allows for expansion or modification of the manifold assembly to control a group of pneumatically or hydraulically driven pumps, valves or combinations thereof in a liquid flow control apparatus. The valved manifold module can be configured to accept a group of four substantially identical valve assemblies, and can be controlled by a local controller mounted to the manifold module, thus forming an independently programmable valved manifold module. The resulting modular system is expandable to allow for coordinated operations of a liquid flow control system, using substantially independent controller functions originating at the manifold assembly level.

Abstract: The solenoid valve (10) has a poppet valve (41) which is operated to move between a position to close a port and a position to open the port. A fixed iron core (50) having a supporting leg (52) and a driving leg (51) is installed in a valve housing (11), and a movable iron core (60) which drives the poppet valve (41) is disposed between a valve driving member (42) and the fixed iron core (50). An arcuate sliding contact surface (61) is provided on one end portion of the movable iron core (60), and a sliding-abutting surface (62) which abuts on the sliding contact surface (61) is provided on a leading end portion of the supporting leg (52). When a coil (56) is de-energized, the sliding-contacting surface (61) is pressed onto the sliding-abutting surface (62) by a flat spring (70), with an abutting portion of the valve driving member (42) serving as a fulcrum of a tensile force applied to the movable iron core (60).

Abstract: For the present small solenoid valve, a stem is coupled to a solenoid plunger, and a valve body is attached to a distal end of the stem. A circular-ring shaped valve seat on which the valve body is seated is provided in a valve chamber of a valve casing, and a seal ring is externally fitted on the stem between the valve chamber and the solenoid plunger with an outer peripheral portion of the seal ring made to contact with an inner surface of the valve casing. The valve casing and the seal ring are made of a rubber-like polymer elastic body, a first port is connected to communicate with the valve chamber, and a second port is connected to communicate with an inner side of the valve seat. At actuation of the solenoid, when the stem moves in an axial direction, the seal ring follows the movement by only elastic deformation without sliding.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus of assessing a test of a solenoid valve via a positioner are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a solenoid valve to enable an actuator to close an emergency valve and a valve positioner fluidly and communicatively coupled to the solenoid valve. The valve positioner is to instruct the solenoid valve to transition the solenoid valve from a first state to a second state. The valve positioner is to monitor a pressure change of a pressure chamber of the actuator in fluid communication with the solenoid valve relative to an initial pressure for a monitoring duration. The valve positioner is to identify a maximum pressure change during the monitoring duration and determine a ready state of the solenoid valve when the maximum pressure change is greater than a minimum trip value and the pressure change at a monitoring end time is less than a maximum reset value.
