Abstract:
A photographic light-sensitive material having a support having a thickness of from 160 to 225 μm is processed with an automatic developing apparatus, in which at least one of rollers of a developing part, a fixing part and a rinsing rack part of the automatic developing apparatus has a surface mainly containing a nonpolar polymer substance and having a center line surface roughness (Ra) of 20 μm or less. By using the automatic developing apparatus, dusts generated in the apparatus can be easily removed with a cleaning film.
Abstract:
The present invention provides for a circular processing drum that defines a processing chamber therein. The circular processing drum includes a first media path for media of a first type which includes a first set of grooves in opposing walls of the processing drum, and a second media path which includes a further set of grooves in the opposing walls of the processing drum. The combination of the first and second media paths provides for a drum that is capable of processing multiple types of media while utilizing a minimum amount of space.
Abstract:
A device for processing a photosensitive material using processing solution includes, processing chambers for storing processing solution therein, at least one of the processing chambers being lower than another processing chamber, a bypass for placing each processing chamber that is downstream of another processing chamber relative to conveyance direction of the photosensitive material in fluid communication with the another processing chamber to pass the processing solution therethough, and a check valve disposed at each bypass for allowing the processing solution which flows from the processing chamber disposed downstream relative to conveyance direction of the photosensitive material to the another processing chamber, and for preventing the processing solution from flowing from the another processing chamber to the downstream processing chamber. The valve body of the check valve, which has a specific gravity different from a specific gravity of the processing solution, is urged against the valve seat by buoyant force.
Abstract:
A web transport apparatus (10) useful for transporting web (16), such as photosensitive strips or sheets, in a corrosive materials environment has first and second rollers (12, 14) each having a sleeve portion (26, 36) with bushings (28, 38) and intermeshing gears (30, 40) arranged thereon. The sleeve portions (26, 36), gears (30, 40) and bushings (28, 38) each comprise a ceramic material that resist wear, abrasion and corrosion when exposed to the corrosive materials.
Abstract:
When an IX240-type photographic film is brought in a photofinishing laboratory, a user selects a winding form or a cutting form. At the laboratory, selected form is inputted with a keyboard and a controller controls a film transport changing unit due to the selected form. When the winding form is selected, the developed photographic film is transported to a film winding unit. When the cutting form is selected, the developed photographic is transported to a cutter. The film winding unit winds the photographic film into the cartridge so as to contain it as a long film. The cutter cuts the photographic film every predetermined number of frames to make plural film pieces. The film pieces are contained in a film sheath.
Abstract:
A photographic processing apparatus includes a developing tank, a fixing tank, a moving plate structure in the form of an open framework guided between the developing tank and the fixing tank, for carrying thereon a sheet of printing paper from the former to the latter. These tanks and the moving plate structure are enclosed in a box-type casing provided at top with a light-filtering cover. Thus, the developing and fixing operations can be carried out in a brightly lighted room.
Abstract:
A plurality of strip-shaped material-engaging elements is moved by cranks in a path in which the elements sequentially move towards the material to be transported, engage it, move with it through a predetermined distance, and then release it and recede from the material.
Abstract:
An electrostatic image developing device provided with a photosensitive copy paper transporting rotary body having a plurality of photosensitive copy paper receiving plates equiangularly radially disposed peripherally of the rotary body whereby the copy papers bearing thereupon electrostatic images are held in position between adjacent receiving plates for developement. The object is to facilitate the photocopying process without reducing a developing time.
