摘要： Innovations in the area of presentation of location-related actions and location information are presented. For example, an application calls an operating system to generate a location card. The location card can show a map of a location as well as additional information about the location and one or more action indicators. With an action indicator, a user can launch an application to perform an action related to the location immediately and directly from the location card. Depending on usage scenario, an application can specify different actions to be represented with action indicators in a location card. At the same time, location cards supported by the operating system provide a consistent way to expose location information and location-related actions to users.

The method and system receive the new calculation and gather historical use data related to previously prepared electronic documents for a large number of historical users. The method and system group the historical users into groups based on the attributes of the historical users. The groups are selected to include groups dedicated to users with rare combinations of attributes, as well as groups for users with more common combinations of attributes. The groups are then sampled by selecting a small number of historical users from each group.

摘要： In an example embodiment, first user input including handwriting input and non-alphanumeric symbolic input is detected. The non-alphanumeric symbolic input is input into a first machine learning model trained to output a set of possible actions corresponding to the non-alphanumeric symbolic input and a probability score assigned to each action in the set of possible actions. A combination of the action having the highest probability score and textual input from the handwriting input is input into a second machine learning model trained to select a service from a plurality of services based on the textual input and the selected action by referencing a service model corresponding to each service in the plurality of services. The combination of the textual input and the selected action is transformed into a native request for the selected service based on the service model for the selected service.

摘要： A method and system parses natural language in a unique way, determining important words pertaining to a text corpus of a particular genre, such as tax preparation. Sentences extracted from instructions or forms pertaining to tax preparation, for example are parsed to determine word groups forming various parts of speech, and then are processed to exclude words on an exclusion list and word groups that don't meet predetermined criteria. From the resulting data, synonyms are replaced with a common functional operator and the resulting sentence text is analyzed against predetermined patterns to determine one or more functions to be used in a document preparation system.
