摘要： There is provided a slide fastener and a method for manufacturing a slide fastener. A slide fastener is provided with: a pair of fastener tapes; a pair of fastener element rows provided respectively on the opposing tape-side edges of the pair of fastener tapes and having a plurality of fastener elements; and a slider configured to engage and disengage the pair of fastener element rows with and from each other. Each of the fastener element rows is composed of a monofilament which is made of synthetic resin. The monofilament has, on the surface thereof, a surface layer which can be colored with dyes. A roughened surface having a number of concaves is formed on the surfaces of the surface layer.

摘要： A slider 20 for a fluid tight slide fastener has upper and lower plates 21, 22 joined together by a guide post 23. A guide plate 24 is formed on the guide post 23 to cooperate with the upper and lower plates 21, 22 to guide the coupling elements and sealing lips of the slide fastener into engagement in conjunction with side flanges 27, 28 on the upper and lower plates 21, 22. The slider is integrally formed; such as by die casting or moulding. To facilitate moulding the guide plate 24 may be thickened at its leading end 32 and provided with a tapered edge, and connected to the upper plate 21 by a web 29 at its trailing end.

摘要： A slide fastener includes a row of coupling elements secured by sewing stitches to one longitudinal edge of a support tape made of a fabric material free of threads woven or knitted together. The sewing stitches are formed of at least one thread having loops passing through the support tape. The thread is made of a monofilamentary material which is free from thermal deformation. 摘要： A slide fastener stringer comprises an elongate molded coupling element strip woven into a stringer tape along a longitudinal edge thereof. The strip includes a succession of laterally spaced coupling elements each having a pair of first and second legs, and a pair of series of first and second connecting portions extending respectively between alternate pairs of the first legs and between alternate pairs of the second legs in staggered relation with each other. A pair of connector threads is partially embedded in the first and second legs, respectively, of each coupling element and extends parallel to the first and second connecting portions, respectively, on the head side of the coupling elements. Each of the coupling elements has a pair of grooves extending transversely through a pair of first and second legs, respectively, on their outer sides, and disposed remotely from the connecting portions and from the connector threads. A pair of anchor threads is disposed in the grooves in the first legs and the grooves in the second legs, respectively, along the full length of the strips. A weft thread of the tape has a plurality of loops each encircling one of the first and second connecting portions, the connector threads, and the anchor threads between adjacent coupling elements, the weft loops being held out of contact with the connector threads.

摘要： A method of and apparatus for manufacturing a pair of paper stringer tapes for slide fasteners from a pair of blank paper strips of a continuous length. The blank paper strips are fed lengthwise through a guide roller assembly. A pair of parallel spaced scoring wheels is biased against one guide roller of the guide roller assembly. As the paper strips pass between the one guide roller and the respective scoring wheels, a pair of continuous prospective folding lines of a constant depth is formed on the blank paper strips along the respective inner longitudinal margin thereof. The inner longitudinal margin of each paper strip is folded on the folding line to provide a doubled thickness with a folded edge on which a row of thermoplastic coupling elements is to be mounted. The support of the scoring wheels enables them to move toward and away from the strip, either jointly or individually, to compensate for variations in paper thickness, whereby said constant depth is maintained.
