The mechanism has a construction that provides an easily releasable, but secure engagement of the implement shaft within the mechanism while also having an alignment feature which engages the implement at multiple locations when engaged with the mechanism to maintain the alignment and concentricity of the implement shaft with regard to the mechanism and the tool when in use.

摘要： A tool assembly includes an elongated handle and a locking system for attaching a tool head to the handle. The tool head can be a floor care tool or other accessory that can be attached to the handle such that the elongated length of the handle can aid in the use of the tool attached. The locking system includes a keyed locking collar for engaging at least a first portion of the tool head, and a locking cap rotatably positioned on the handle for engaging a second portion of the tool head. The handle can be extendable, such as by telescoping, and can also be overmolded.

摘要： A quick-connect adapter, configured to receive an end of a medical tool, is disclosed and can include a base. A support sleeve can extend from the base having an internal cavity with a first portion defined by a first internal circumferential surface parallel to a major axis of the quick-connect adapter and a second portion defined by a second internal circumferential surface non-parallel to the major axis and generally adjacent to the first portion. A medical tool engagement sleeve can be slidingly disposed within the support sleeve and have a receiving channel and an opening through the engagement sleeve into the receiving channel. The quick-connect adapter can be movable between an engaged configuration, in which the lateral opening is substantially aligned with the second portion of the support sleeve, and an unlocked configuration, in which the lateral opening is substantially aligned with the first portion of the support sleeve.

摘要： A chuck device for electrical discharge machine includes a mold fixed to the machine and a connector connected to the discharge head. The connector has a connection rod having a neck and the connection rod is connected to the mold. A plurality of protrusions extend from the top of the connector and each protrusion has a groove which is defined by two facing inclined surfaces. The mold has a plurality of positioning bars fixed to an underside thereof and each positioning bar has a taper-shaped body with two inclined sides. The positioning bars are engaged with the grooves and the two inclined sides of the positioning bar are in contact with the inclined surfaces of the groove. A distance is defined between the flanges and a top of the protrusion.

摘要： An electric cutting tool has a body, a chuck at an end of the body for attaching a cutting implement having a rear end including a recess, and a drive mechanism for driving the chuck to slide in reciprocation for operating the cutting implement. The chuck has a gap for receiving the rear end of the implement, an internal multi-part fixing mechanism for engaging the recess of the cutting implement in the gap, and an outer cylinder having an inner cam surface for acting upon the fixing mechanism. The cylinder is manually rotatable between a locked position in which the cam surface presses the fixing mechanism tight against the recess in the gap to fix the cutting implement in place and an unlocked position in which the fixing means is released from the cutting mechanism. The fixing mechanism includes two discrete balls.

摘要： An improved broom assembly comprises a head member having an integrally threaded handle receiving opening with a handle threadedly connected therein and including a locking adaptor for preventing inadvertent unthreading of the handle from the head member. The locking adaptor comprises a generally cylindrical collet body member formed independently of the head member and the handle and having a central opening through which the handle slidably extends. The collet body member further includes resilient finger portions extending axially from the body member along the handle in a direction away from the head member. A nut member is threadedly received on the collet body member for movement axially thereof and includes a tapered surface engageable with the finger portions for driving the finger portions radially inward into gripping engagement with the handle. Engagement tabs extend axially between the collet body member and the head member for preventing relative rotation therebetween.
