The mechanism has a construction that provides an easily releasable, but secure engagement of the implement shaft within the mechanism while also having an alignment feature which engages the implement at multiple locations when engaged with the mechanism to maintain the alignment and concentricity of the implement shaft with regard to the mechanism and the tool when in use.

    摘要: A retaining mechanism, and a holding sleeve and a rod tool including the same are provided. The holding sleeve is adapted to dispose around a body portion of a main body and can rotate relative to the body portion. A blocking member is disposed in at least one through hole of a first sleeve. A second sleeve is movable relative to and disposed around the first sleeve. The blocking member is controllably pressed by the second sleeve to be partially received in an annular groove of the body portion. An elastic member is disposed around and between the first sleeve the first and second sleeves. Before the second sleeve is mounted to the first sleeve, a part of the elastic member corresponds to the blocking member in a radial direction of the first sleeve and can limit the blocking member to locate in the through hole.

    摘要: A hand manipulated implement including an implement head, a handle and a connector rigidly connecting the handle to the implement head. The connector includes a plug which is inserted into the handle and which includes an exposed end for inserting into a collet base defined on the implement head. The connector plug and collet base each include an aperture wherein the apertures of the plug and base are aligned by ribs cooperating with grooves and slots at the lower ends of the plug and collet base. A clip is inserted through the aligned apertures to thereby hold the handle against longitudinal movement relative to the collet base. In addition, a collet is formed at an upper end of the collet base for frictionally engaging the handle and thereby further limiting movement of the handle relative to the implement head.

    摘要: A chuck for heavy duty applications has a plurality of radially slidable jaw mounts each actuated by an L-shaped lever mounted for rocking motion about a supporting trunnion. The levers each have a leg engaging one of the jaw mounts and another engaging an actuator. An external lubricant receiving port is provided adjacent each trunnion and a multiple conduit lubricant distribution system is provided extending through the supporting trunnion and actuating lever. The chuck body also has a lubricant flow channel through which lubricant flows circumferentially of the chuck to assure uniform distribution, eliminating lubricant concentrations and eccentric weight distribution in the chuck.

    摘要: The invention is directed toward a tool assembly for optionally operating a tool body independently or in combination with a storage holder for polygonal shaped tools, such as a L shaped hex key. The tool assembly includes a tool main body that can act as a tool itself. The tool main body may comprise a housing, an adjustable securing mechanism, and a control member. The adjustable securing mechanism is mounted in the tool main body housing and is operatively connected with the control member. The adjusting mechanism is configured to accept and secure a tool of different sizes and shapes. The control member is rotatable to bias the adjustable securing mechanism to rotate around an axial direction in the housing so that the adjustable securing mechanism is moved in a manner to either secure a tool or release a tool.
