摘要: An active fault tolerance and fault mitigation system based on steer-by-wire dual motors and a mode switching control method thereof are provided. The system includes an acquisition unit, a steering wheel assembly, an ECU control module, a front wheel steering assembly, and a fault tolerance controller (18) which are sequentially connected. The acquisition unit transmits an acquired vehicle signal to the ECU control module, and then a corresponding compensation strategy is selected by means of a fault tolerance control strategy unit, a yaw rate calculation unit, a stability control unit, and a dual-motor compensation unit to act on a rack and pinion mechanism (15). The system and method can perform switching in an active fault tolerance and fault mitigation mode to achieve optimal control of the real-time performance of a vehicle, thereby ensuring the driving performance and higher performance of the vehicle in a field fault condition.

摘要: A rack and pinion steering system for a motor vehicle may include a pinion shaft that is connected to a steering shaft and has a steering pinion that is engaged with a rack mounted in a steering gear housing such that the rack can be displaced along a longitudinal axis for pivoting steerable wheels. The steering shaft, the pinion shaft with the steering pinion, and the step-down gear mechanism may be received in the steering gear housing. The rack and pinion steering system may further include an electric motor that drives the pinion shaft via a step-down gear mechanism. The step-down gear mechanism may be arranged at an end of the pinion shaft that is remote from the steering shaft.

摘要: A controller controls a steering motor in accordance with a pinion angle command value calculated in response to a steering state. The steering motor produces a driving force to a steering operation mechanism. The controller calculates a target pinion angle in accordance with the steering state and the pinion angle command value by performing feedback control such that an actual pinion angle corresponds to the target pinion angle. The controller includes a compensation control circuit which calculates compensation amounts reflected in the pinion angle command value so as to compensate for an inertia component, a viscosity component, and a spring component of the steering operation mechanism in accordance with the target pinion angle. The compensation control circuit adds the compensation amounts to the target pinion angle so as to calculate the final target pinion angle to be used for the calculation of the pinion angle command value.
