    摘要: An assembly and method for deploying, retrieving, and storing a cable having a minimum bend radius onto a drum. The assembly may comprise a frame, a rotatable drum carried by the frame, a levelwind carried by the frame, and a powertrain. The levelwind may comprise a rail spanning at least the width of the drum, and a traversable carriage carried by the rail. The levelwind may also comprise a cable guide carried by the carriage, where the cable guide comprises an elongated chute having contoured walls. The contoured walls of the chute include no bends having a radius less than the minimum bend radius of the cable. The powertrain may be operatively connected to rotate the drum about the drum axis and traverse the carriage along the rail. In some examples, the contoured walls of the chute are coated with a supplmentary coating.

    摘要: A multiple flexible lance hose take-up drum apparatus or device in accordance with the present disclosure includes a base having three or more support legs and a hollow take-up drum assembly rotatably supported from the base. The drum assembly includes a hollow cylindrical shell, a bottom plate fastened to the shell, a high pressure fluid supply connection and a manifold positioned radially along a bottom plate of the shell for connection to one end of each of a plurality of flexible lance hoses. The base includes an L shaped support arm extending from the bases alongside the shell. A plurality of guide tubes are supported by the support arm and aligned over a rim of the shell for guiding flexible lance hoses into and out of the take-up drum assembly.

    摘要: A welding wire feeder including an alignment tongue and groove connection between a clamp arm and a welding drive assembly housing is provided. In certain embodiments, an alignment tongue extends from an end of the clamp arm opposite a pivot point about which the clamp arm rotates relative the assembly housing. A corresponding alignment groove may be formed in the assembly housing to receive the alignment tongue when the clamp arm is rotated such that a drive wheel mounted on the clamp arm contacts a drive wheel mounted on the assembly housing. In addition, a tensioner may be pivoted into a groove in the clamp arm to transfer a compressive force through the clamp arm, forcing the drive wheels together. The alignment tongue and groove may reduce lateral displacement of the clamp arm relative to the assembly housing that may be caused by a force transferred to the clamp arm as the tensioner is pivoted.

    摘要: A laying head for forming an axially moving hot rolled product into a helical series of rings includes a quill rotatable about an axis, with a tubular body journaled for rotation between axially spaced bearings, and a nose projecting axially and forwardly from its tubular body. A product guide is carried by the quill. The product guide is configured to form the product into a helical series of rings. A guide trough provides a helical extension of the product guide. Major portions of the product guide and the guide trough are carried on a continuous helical support on the nose of the quill. The guide trough is channel shaped, with a continuous bottom defining the rim of the helical support, and with segmented detachable side walls.
