摘要: A leveler for a solar module can include a base, a rotatable adjuster, and a follower. The rotatable adjuster can be mounted to the base with a swaging process, or other techniques. The follower can be embedded within a coupler configured to be connectable to solar modules. Turning the rotatable height adjuster changes the relative spacing between the solar module and the base.

摘要: An integral, monolithic mounting bracket supports a corner of a photovoltaic module. The bracket includes a ballast tray for holding one or more ballast blocks, and includes a plurality of monolithic support legs that are disposed at acute angles from a plane of the ballast tray and that are integral with the ballast tray. The bracket can be manufactured by stamping at least two identical sections of metal from the sheet and then bending-up each section on its remaining uncut fourth side into a near-vertical position, so that each bent-up section forms a monolithic support leg.

摘要: A roof mounting system for the attachment of an article to a roof, the system comprising a plurality of PV modules each having at least one corner and a frame member, a flashing member having a top surface; an upstanding sleeve attached to the top surface of the flashing member; an elevated water seal having a borehole formed therethrough, the elevated water seal further comprising at least one screw for providing a waterproof seal between the article and the roof structure; and whereby the plurality of PV modules are interlocked in a way to provide a corner-to-corner coupling arrangement supported above the roof through the frame members of the plurality of PV modules.

摘要: A metal composition suitable for originating a joint by means of welding with a borosilicate glass for a solar collector. The composition, expressed in weight percentage, comprises the following alloy elements: NiCoMnSiCTiZrTaTi + Zr + Ta 28-3115-18≤0.5≤0.3≤0.05≤0.30≤0.30≤0.30≤0.40 and it is such that 45.5≤(Ni+Co)≤46.5, and that (Ti+Ta+Zr)≥4×C, the remaining part being made up of iron, apart from the inevitable impurities. Additionally, a metal ring made of the metal composition described above and suitable for originating a metal-glass joint by means of welding; the metal-glass joint thus obtained; and the tubular solar collector thus obtained.

摘要: Structures and methods for supporting solar panels are provided. The structure includes a plurality of tee extrusions, a plurality of legs, a plurality of trusses, a plurality of ridge rails, and a plurality of clips. The tee extrusions form two parallel tracks upon which the legs are secured. The legs project upward from the extrusions and are coupled to the trusses, which are above and perpendicular to the trusses. At least four legs support each truss. The ridge rails sit on the truss and a parallel to the extrusions. The solar panels sit on the ridge rails and are secured to the ridge rails by the clips.

摘要: Discussed are solar panel systems as well as devices and methods for mounting the solar panel systems to roofs and building structures. Catch clamp, mid clamp, and optionally end clamp assemblies can be preinstalled to the solar panels at the job site before placing and securing the resulting solar panel assemblies to the building structure such as a roof. After an installer places and secures a first solar panel assembly to the building structure, they can install each subsequent solar panel assemblies by attaching the leading edge of the subsequent solar panel assembly to the trailing edge of the previous solar panel assembly using a catch and catch receiver, hook and slot, tab and slot, or similar mechanism.

When a solar module is placed on the mounting bracket and supported by the torque tube the mounting tab retainer assembly is received in the mounting slot of the solar module.

摘要: An equipment mounting system for mounting equipment to a support structure is described. An equipment mounting system including: (i) a mounting plate having defined therein a plate aperture of a particular shape; (ii) a bolt having a shaft portion including a threaded portion and a non-threaded portion that is of a complementary shape that complements the particular shape of the plate aperture; and (iii) a washer having defined therein a scored aperture that includes multiple radially extending scorings. In an assembled configuration of the mounting plate, the bolt and the washer, the plate aperture of the particular shape aligns with the scoring aperture such that both of the plate aperture and the scoring aperture receive the non-threaded portion of the complementary shape, and the particular shape of the mounting plate engages with the complementary shape of the bolt to prevent rotational displacement of the bolt around the mounting plate.
