The extraction section extracts at least one observation point pair from a plurality of detected observation points. The observation point pair is a pair of the observation points located in the same direction. The target position determination section calculates a surface direction of a reflection surface from a reflection surface observation point of the observation point pair and observation points around the reflection surface observation point, and determines a position of the target from the calculated surface direction and the at least one observation point pair.

摘要: The invention is comprised of an assembly of hardware and software components for the purpose of measuring and drawing real life dimensions. With the present invention, an user defines a starting position in a spectrum of at least two coordinates. In a preferred embodiment all elements are integrated as one portable unit. The hardware elements comprise a point and click mechanism, whose operation is similar to a computer mouse, a display or viewing unit to act as a monitor, optional ways to input data, including but not limited to buttons and keys, and a way to power the device. The software element is generally defined by an application that allows tracing, drawing, measuring, calculating and saving data from real life physical areas by the interaction of the point-and-click mechanism, in optional combination with the ways to input data. The task is executed by the extrapolation of real life dimensions by successively selecting and clicking on defining points, resulting on a scaled down drawing recorded on the device and displayed on the viewing screen. Complex shape areas are calculated by segmenting them into regular geometrical shapes. Curvilinear and irregularly complex shapes are reticulated, so each reticle compartment's area is calculated and the entire shape area is calculated by the addition of all reticle's compartments for optimum precision and accuracy.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a signal processing apparatus and system. In calibration, a sensor section is used to acquire a time of day when a stereo camera image capturing a target is acquired and a time of day when a radar image capturing the target is acquired. The target has a radar reflector and a marker. The image acquisition times of day are acquired while at the same time changing a distance between the sensor section and the target so as to find an amount of time-of-day discrepancy, a difference in time of day between the stereo camera image and the radar image at the same distance. At the time of object detection, the radar image acquired first is buffered and then output together with the stereo camera image acquired by the time-of-day discrepancy later, thus combining the stereo camera image and the radar image.

The solutions of the present disclosure can be applied to reduce workload and improve the accuracy of detection results.

摘要: An electronic device may be provided with control circuitry and wireless circuitry. The wireless circuitry may include a phased antenna array and a radio-frequency integrated circuit having transmit and receive ports. The array may include a first set of stacked patch antennas coupled to the transmit ports and a second set of stacked patch antennas coupled to the receive ports. The integrated circuit may transmit ranging signals at millimeter wave frequencies using the transmit ports and the first set of antennas. The integrated circuit may receive a reflected version of the transmitted ranging signals that has been reflected off of an external object using the receive ports and the second set of antennas. The control circuitry may identify a distance between the electronic device and the external object based on the transmitted and received signals.
