摘要: A system and method for sharing an item of media content is described. An exemplary method includes associating a first location with the item of media content at a first mobile device and sending a request to view the item of media content to a second mobile device at a second location. The method includes showing a recipient of the item of media content a simulated journey from the recipient's location to a location associated with the item of media content. The simulated journey includes zooming out from the recipient's location shown on a map, following a path between the recipient's location and the location associated with the item of media content, and zooming into the location associated with the item of media content.

摘要: Content management server receives requests for geographically restricted domains and generates unique registrant identifiers responsive to the request based on the physical geographic location of the registrant and a related proximity condition. Each of the unique registrant identifiers identifying a registrant content server, and each of the registrant content servers storing content associated with the corresponding unique registrant identifier. The content management server receives queries from user devices, and the queries indicate a geographic location. The content management server identifies geographically relevant registrant content servers based on associated unique registrant identifiers relative to satisfied proximity conditions. The registrant content servers may communicate geographically relevant content objects to user devices.

摘要: The present invention relates to a system to facilitate the identification of geo-cells, and the distribution of media content. A visitation tracking system is configured to retrieve location data from a client device, identify a geo-cell from among a set of geo-cells based on the location data, access a database that comprises media content associated with one or more physical location within the geo-cell, ranking a first media content among the media content, and loading the first media content at the client device based on the ranking, according to certain example embodiments.

摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices are disclosed for improved concurrency of users of a shared virtual environment. One method including: transmitting, to each single player client of, chunks of world chunk data of a shared virtual environment; receiving, at one or more virtual environment servers from each single player client connected to the shared virtual environment, state data of each user of a respective single player client connected to the shared virtual environment, wherein the single player client of each user manages state data of the user within the one or more virtual environment servers; periodically monitoring, from each user of the single player client connected to the shared virtual environment, updated state data for the user of a respective single player client connected to the shared virtual environment; storing, for the shared virtual environment in a database connected to one or more virtual environment servers, the updated state data for each user of the single player client; and periodically transmitting, for each user of the single player client, the updated state data of other users of the single player client within a predetermined distance of the user of the single player client.
