摘要： A method of processing a purchase transaction includes generating a transaction file containing a product code, which is transmitted from a user computing device when an image of a product code identifier is captured by the user computing device, a first user ID of the customer, and an indicator of whether or not the customer has opted in to receive electronic receipts. The method further includes generating an electronic receipt based on the transaction file, storing a conversion table containing the first and second user IDs of the customer, converting the first user ID contained in the transaction file to the second user ID based on the conversion table, when the indicator indicates that the customer has opted in, and storing the electronic receipt in association with the second user ID. The electronic receipt is transmitted in response to a request for electronic receipts associated with the second user ID.

If ordering data corresponding to the remote merchant has been received, the system and process may have the ability to present a user interface regarding payment data. The system and process may also have the ability to determine if payment data has been received and, if payment data has been received, generate a message regarding the ordering data for a remote merchant computer.

摘要： The present invention enables a processing to be executed by the closest information processing apparatuses selected by a portable terminal without exclusive use of the information processing apparatus by the portable terminal. The control system comprises a distance detecting unit which detects a printer at the shortest distance from a portable POS terminal based on the intensity of radio waves emitted from the plurality of printers and received by the portable POS terminal by using the BLE and a processing execution control unit which instructs the detected printer to execute the processing by using the wireless LAN. Even while the portable POS terminal transmits printing data to the printer by using the wireless LAN, the other portable POS terminals are allowed to use the BLE to receive the radio waves from the plurality of printers including the particular printer, thereby detecting the closest printer.

The encrypted data may include a list of payment instruments used in previous successful transactions, customer transaction histories, and other customer information. The POS device may determine, upon receiving a payment instrument identifier in a transaction, whether the payment instrument has been used in a previous successful transaction. If the POS device determines the payment instrument has been used, it may process the transaction. If not, the POS device may warn the merchant that the transaction is a high-risk transaction.

摘要： An information entry and reporting system and method for tracking data associated with retail transactions at the point of sale. Transaction data is converted into a machine readable dataform pattern and printed onto a sales receipt provided to the purchaser. Subsequently, the purchaser uses a suitably configured scanning device to read the dataform pattern into his or her computer. Software algorithms decode the scanned dataform pattern, extract the transaction data and store it for subsequent analysis and reporting. The system includes a computer, software adapted to retrieve selected data, assemble the retrieved data in a format suitable for encoding and encode the data in a dataform pattern, a printer to print the encoded transaction data, a scanning device to capture the encoded data, software to decode the transaction data and software to display the data in human readable form.
