    摘要: To reliably place a winding on a cylindrical pole core of a claw pole rotor structure for an alternator subjected to extremes in shock, vibration and oscillatory loadings, for example for use with motorcycle alternators, the pole core is deformed by knurling, grooving, rifling, or the like, preferably extending in cross direction, and a layer of mesh or net structure insulating fabric material, preferably a linen mesh, is placed over the pole core, the woven fabric mesh structure mechanically interlocking with the deformations and projections on the surface of the rotor; preferably, a plurality of wraps of the layer are provided, the field winding being wound directly over the uppermost wrap of the fabric layer in the form of a toroidal winding and, after assembly with the claw poles, the entire structure is impregnated with a suitable insulating compound, for example by vacuum impregnation, in accordance with standard dynamo electric machine construction.

    摘要: A refrigerant compressor for use in an automotive air conditioning refrigerating system is provided with an electromagnetic clutch and an AC electric generator assembled on the compressor. The electromagnetic clutch comprises a pulley rotatably mounted on the compressor housing to be driven by the engine of the car, a magnetic attracting surface, and a magnetic armature connected to a drive shaft of the compressor to be magnetically attracted to the magnetic attracting surface to selectively drive the compressor by the engine. The AC electric generator comprises a stator statically mounted on the compressor housing and a rotor mounted on the pulley. One of the stator and the rotor includes concentric magnetic pole pieces of permanent magnets or of electromagnets, and the other of the stator and rotor includes a coil member to which AC current is induced upon the rotation of the rotor together with the pulley. Electric power is obtained from the AC electric generator to compensate for the power consumption of the car battery in the use of the air conditioning refrigerating system.

The stator includes a stator core, which forms a plurality of slots extending in an axial direction of the stator core, and a stator winding wound around the stator core. The stator winding includes electric conductors held in the slots. Each of the electric conductors has a circumferential width that is smaller than a circumferential distance between a first wall and a second wall defining the slot. The first wall and the second wall oppose each other in a circumferential direction. The electric conductors are alternately in contact with one of the first wall and the second wall.
