A system for managing distributed energy resources includes a memory configured to store instructions, and a processor electrically connected to the memory and configured to execute the instructions, and when the instructions are executed by the processor, the processor is configured to determine at least one DER that is to supply power to a consumer from among a plurality of DERs, using a rank of each of the DERs indicating importance as a power source supplying power to the consumer and information about power consumed by the consumer.

Abstract: Disclosed is a self-learning method of a knowledge-based dialogue system. The method includes generating, by the query generating module, a natural language query by itself based on a knowledge path for a query selected from a knowledge graph, inferring, by the answer generating module, a knowledge path for an answer corresponding to a query intention of the natural language query from the knowledge graph, and generating a natural language answer by itself based on the knowledge path for an answer, comparing and evaluating, by the dialogue evaluating unit, the knowledge path for a query and the knowledge path for an answer, and learning, by the query generating module and the answer generating module, a dialogue between the query generating module and the answer generating module based on an evaluation result of the dialogue evaluating unit.

Abstract: Disclosed are an image encoding method using a skip mode and a device using the method. The image encoding method may comprise the steps of: judging whether there is residual block data of a prediction target block on the basis of predetermined data indicating whether residual block data has been encoded; and, if there is residual block data, restoring the prediction target block on the basis of the residual block data and an intra-screen predictive value of the prediction target block. Consequently, encoding and decoding efficiency can be increased by carrying out the encoding and decoding of screen residual data only for prediction target blocks where there is a need for a residual data block in accordance with screen similarity.

The method of operating the encoder includes receiving the continuous time-series signal, generating a plurality of discrete quantum signals by sampling and quantizing the continuous time-series signal, selecting first to N-th discrete quantum signals among the plurality of discrete quantum signals, matching the selected first to N-th discrete quantum signals with the first to N-th input neuron circuits, respectively, identifying discrete quantum signals, each of which has a quantum level different from a quantum level of a previous discrete quantum signal, from among the second to N-th discrete quantum signals, and activating the input signals to be transmitted to the input neuron circuits corresponding to the identified discrete quantum signals and the first discrete quantum signal.
