    Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are provided for determining a number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates and non-overlapped control channel elements (CCEs) for a UE configured with a plurality of component carriers having more than one subcarrier spacing (SCS). The plurality of component carriers are assigned to a number of cell groups. Each cell group includes a scheduling component carrier providing scheduling information for the other component carriers in the cell group. A reference slot window is selected based on an SCS of component carriers assigned to each cell group. And a number of PDCCH candidates and non-overlapped CCEs per the reference slot window are determined based on a number of and SCS of the component carriers in each cell group. Control information in a downlink radio frame is monitored by the UE based on the number of PDCCH candidates and non-overlapped CCEs.

    Abstract: Configuring channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) reporting at a network may include encoding a single CSI-RS reporting configuration for transmission to a user equipment (UE) that is in connected mode with both a first transmission and reception point (TRP) and a second TRP. The single CSI-RS reporting configuration may include a plurality of CSI-RS resource sets. Each of the plurality of CSI-RS resource sets may include a plurality of CSI-RS resources. At least one of the plurality of CSI-RS resource sets may include CSI-RS resources that correspond to the first TRP or the second TRP. A CSI measurement communication received from the UE may be decoded. The CSI measurement communication may be based on the single CSI-RS reporting configuration communication. Based on the CSI measurement communication, one or more downlink data transmissions may be scheduled.

    Abstract: Various techniques are presented to improve phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) performance with respect to very high frequency communications. According to some embodiments, increased power boosting may be applied to improve PTRS performance, while still keeping power spectral density (PSD) within ETSI Broadband Radio Access Networks (BRAN) limits. In some cases, the power boosting may be semi-static and/or dynamic. In other embodiments, the improved performance may be achieved by dynamically changing time and/or frequency density of the PTRS. In other embodiments, a multi-port configuration may be used for the downlink PTRS. In other embodiments, one or more PTRS configurations may be determined per SCS and/or frequency band, e.g., based on traffic type, channel priority, parameters signaled in the slot format indication (SFI), etc. In other embodiments, common phase error (CPE) estimates may be obtained for those OFDM symbols without PTRS by interpolating the available PTRS estimates in the time domain.
