Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may transmit, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, configuration information related to a random access procedure. For example, in some aspects, the configuration information may include a physical random access channel mask configuration based at least in part on a random access occasion density in a time and frequency domain in a cell served by the base station, a random access response configuration based at least in part on an indication transmitted from the UE to the base station, and/or the like. Accordingly, the UE may perform the random access procedure based at least in part on the configuration information, which may be indicated to the UE in system information, radio resource control signaling, and/or the like. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device may obtain information indicative of a configuration to provide code block group (CBG)-based feedback for one or more semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) communications scheduled for the first device. The first device may then monitor for the one or more SPS communications in one or more CBGs of a TB in accordance with one or more SPS communication configurations. Based on the monitoring of the semi-persistent scheduling communications, the first device may generate one or more feedback bits associated with the one or more SPS communications, and may communicate, with a second device, the one or more feedback bits associated with the one or more SPS communications in accordance with the configuration to provide CBG-based feedback.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration message that indicates a radio resource allocation and a transmission scheme for one or more first configured grant-small data transfer (CG-SDT) occasions and one or more second CG-SDT occasions. The one or more second CG-SDT occasions are at least partially nested, in time, frequency, or a combination thereof, within the one or more first CG-SDT occasions. The UE may therefore transmit, to the base station, an uplink communication within the one or more first CG-SDT occasions or the one or more second CG-SDT occasions, using the radio resource allocation and the transmission scheme. Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for positioning. A receiver measures a time of arrival (ToA) of a positioning reference signal (PRS) transmission of a first PRS sequence transmitted by a first transmitter, measures a ToA of a PRS transmission of a second PRS sequence transmitted by a second transmitter, and determines an observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) as a difference between the ToA of the PRS transmission of the first PRS sequence and the ToA of the PRS transmission of the second PRS sequence, wherein the OTDOA is less than half a maximum differential delay expected between the PRS transmission of the first PRS sequence and the PRS transmission of the second PRS sequence, and wherein a repetition duration of the first PRS sequence and the second PRS sequence is greater than 10 milliseconds (ms) and at least twice the maximum differential delay.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a second UE, a capability message indicating that the second UE is capable of processing one or more types of modulated waveforms. The first UE may encode a set of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols with a first set of data for an uplink transmission to a network entity via a communication link between the first UE and the network entity, and may modulate the set of encoded OFDM symbols with a second set of data for the second UE according to a type of the one or more types of modulated waveforms capable of being processed by the second UE. The first UE may transmit and the second UE may monitor for the modulated set of encoded OFDM symbols via the communication link.
