Abstract:
A portable electronic device includes a metallic casing, a circuit board, a feeding line, and a grounding line. The metallic casing confines an accommodating space, and is formed with a slot that is in spatial communication with the accommodating space and that is defined by a slot-defining wall. The circuit board is disposed in the accommodating space, and is provided with feeding and grounding ports. The feeding line serves to couple electrically the feeding port to the slot-defining wall. The grounding line serves to couple electrically the grounding port to the slot-defining wall.
Abstract:
A synthesis subband filter apparatus is provided. The apparatus is used for processing 18 sets of signals which each includes 32 subband sampling signals in accordance with a specification providing 512 window coefficients. The apparatus includes a processor for processing the 18 sets of signals in sequence. The processor further includes a converting module and a generating module. The converting module is used for converting the 32 subband sampling signals of the set of signals being processed into 32 converted vectors by use of 32-points discrete cosine transform (DCT), and writing the 32 converted vectors into 512 default vectors with a first-in, first-out queue. The generating module is used for generating 32 pulse code modulation (PCM) signals, relative to the set of signals being processed according to a set of synthesis formulae proposed in this invention.

The second radiating element has a second feeding point that is disposed on the second edge of the substrate and that is connected to the second feeding port.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a motion vector estimation system and the method thereof for estimating an output motion vector for a macroblock of a frame. The motion vector estimation system is capable of selectively horizontally shifting a search window corresponding to each macroblock, so as to improve reusability of pixel data from previous search window and reduce memory bandwidth.
Abstract:
This invention discloses an adjusting apparatus for adjusting the brightness of an image including a plurality of pixels having a center pixel and an initial pixel. The adjusting apparatus includes a detecting module, a calculating module and a gain module. The detecting module receives the image and detects the brightness of each pixel of the image. The calculating module calculates the distance between each pixel and the center pixel according the distance between initial pixel and the center pixel. The gain module respectively adjusts the brightness of each pixel among the plural pixels according to the distance between each pixel and the center pixel of the image.
Abstract:
This invention discloses a digital zooming apparatus for adjusting the size of a sensed image sensed by a sensor. The digital zooming apparatus includes an adjusting module, a first image-processing module, a storage module and a second image-processing module. The adjusting module connected to the sensor receives the sensed image and adjusts the sensed image according to a zooming factor to produce an adjusted image. The first image-processing module connected to the adjusting module processes the adjusted image according to a first predetermined condition and a second predetermined condition to produce a first image. The storage module connected to the first image-processing module stores the first image. The second image-processing module connected to the storage module receives the first image and processes the first image according to the second predetermined condition to produce a second image.

Abstract:
A detachable and rotatable door cover assembly is disclosed for using a door cover to cover a module (such as a thermal module) inside a product (such as a notebook computer). The door cover assembly comprises a rotation base and a clipping groove located on the product; a locking ring located on the modules; and a door cover. One end of the door cover has a rotating member used for connecting pivotally to the rotation base, thereby revolving the door cover. The door cover also has a clipping hook used for engaging with the clipping groove. The door cover further has a ring-fixing base used for locking with the locking ring located on the module.
