    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) device including an antenna, a memory, a RF circuitry commutatively coupled to the antenna, and a processor configured to perform operations is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the operations include receiving a Radio Resource Control (RRC) release message from a base station, wherein the RRC release message comprises a suspend configuration to transition the UE to an RRC_INACTIVE state. In addition, the operations include entering the RRC_INACTIVE state. The operations include performing, while the UE is in the RRC_INACTIVE state, an initial data transmission without transitioning from the RRC_INACTIVE state to a RRC_CONNECTED state. Additionally, the operations include monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) for a UE dedicated scheduling for a transmission or reception of a subsequent data during an active period, while the UE is in the RRC INACTIVE state. Further, the operations include performing the transmission or reception of the subsequent data based on the monitoring of the PDCCH.

    Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for a request and response signaling between first and second user equipment (UE) via a PC5 link for configuring inter-UE coordination. In some embodiments, request signaling entails a first UE identifying a transmit resource pool of the first UE to be sensed or evaluated by the second UE; instructing the second UE to report information indicating a quantity of resources; and instructing the second UE to evaluate the resources to be reported. In other embodiments, response signaling entails a first UE receiving from the second UE a request signal for inter-UE coordination; indicating a set of one or more resources, in which the set is indicated as corresponding to whitelist, blacklist, or collision list; and providing a validity time for resources indicated.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing various metrics for in integrated IAB networks are disclosed. A child IAB node may determine metrics regarding one or more of its data flows and report these metrics to an upstream IAB node (that is a parent node and/or an IAB donor). The upstream node may determine a data flow prioritization configuration using these metrics that it either uses itself or sends back to the child IAB node or another IAB node of the IAB network for use there.
