Abstract:
A blade server system with integrated KVM switches is described. The blade server system has a chassis, a management board, a plurality of blade servers, and an output port. Each of the blade servers has a decoder and a switch. Each of the blade servers further has a select button and a processor. The decoder receives an encoded data from the management board and decodes the encoded data into command information when one of the blade servers is selected. The switch receives the command information and is switched according to the command information. The command information indicates which switch is to be turned on and which are to be turned off. The output port connects the peripheral devices for controlling the selected blade server. The management board may determine which blade server is to be selected by the button condition, commands from the peripheral devices or a request from a network computer.
Abstract:
A multi-frequency antenna includes a first antenna element having a first antenna member for receiving and transmitting signals in a first frequency band and a second antenna member for receiving and transmitting signals in a second frequency band. The first antenna member has opposite first and second ends. The second antenna member has opposite third and fourth ends respectively disposed adjacent to and remote from the first end of the first antenna member. The fourth end of the second antenna member is connected electrically to the first end of the first antenna member so as to form a feed point. A C-shaped second antenna element has opposite ends, one of which is connected electrically to the third end of the second antenna member of the first antenna element.
Abstract:
A storage medium administration apparatus is electrically connected to a computer. The storage medium administration apparatus has a plurality of child storage modules. The structure and function of the child storage modules are described as follows: a switch sends a message to a computer for modifying record status when it switches; a latch locks and unlocks the storage medium by a command from the computer; and a spring pushes the storage medium which is unlocked by the latch.
Abstract:
A heat dissipation apparatus is described. The heat dissipation apparatus reduces noise of a notebook computer. The apparatus comprises a heat sink, at least one heat pipe, at least one heat column, a plurality of heat exhausting fins, and at least one fan device. The heat sink catches the heat energy on the central processing unit of the notebook computer. The heat energy is transferred from the heat sink to the heat pipes, and then to the heat columns. The heat columns delivers the heat energy to the heat exhausting fins parallel to each other in a vertical direction and the fan device blows the heat out of the computer. The fan device has an outlet angle aligned with an inlet angle of the heat exhausting fins, and therefore the noise of the computer is reduced. In particular, a heat plate is coupled between the heat columns and the heat pipes. Hence, the heat can be more efficiently delivered to the heat exhausting fins directly from sidewalls of the heat exhausting fins and by way of the columns.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of relocating a serving radio network controller (RNC) in a radio telecommunication system for switching a first RNC which is assigning radio and network resources to a user equipment (UE) to a second RNC replacing the first RNC for assigning radio and network resources to the UE continuously. The radio telecommunication system also comprises a core network which comprises a plurality of serving GPRS support node (SGSN). The first RNC is coupled to a first SGSN of the plurality of SGSNs. The second RNC is coupled to a second SGSN of the plurality of SGSNs. The method of the invention mainly performs the routing path switch between the SGSN and the RNC in the SGSN level, and is used in two modes: intra-SGSN mode and inter-SGSN mode.
Abstract:
A method of cable assembly with electromagnetic interference protection and a structure thereof are described. The cable comprises a transmission cable, a ground cable, and metal rings. The transmission cable connects the liquid crystal display and a motherboard of a notebook computer. The insulating cover of the ground cable is peeled off in at least one position of an insulating cover and exposes an internal conductive wire. The exposed positions correspond to positions of clips of the notebook computer. The conductive wire and the transmission cable are clamped in the metal rings, and therefore the electromagnetic interference noises transmit to a ground of the notebook computer.
Abstract:
A foldable pedestal is mounted to a LCD panel of a LCD monitor. The foldable pedestal comprises a support base on which a rotation limiter is slidably mounted. A rotary plate, including a connecting area where the LCD panel is fixedly attached, is pivotally mounted to the support base over the rotation limiter. Blocking elements are fastened to the rotary plate. When the rotation limiter is in a first position, the rotary plate is in an unfolding position, and is prevented from substantial rotation due to an abutment of the blocking element against the rotation limiter. When the rotation limiter slidably moves to a second position, a clearance is created to allow the passage of the blocking elements so that the rotary plate is allowed to rotate to a folding position.
Abstract:
A portable computer includes a computer body and a handle mounted detachably to the computer body. The computer body has a housing and an internal power unit mounted in the housing. The handle includes a handle casing, a pair of spaced and opposite arm members extending symmetrically from said handle casing and being mounted detachably and pivotally to said housing, a battery unit mounted in the handle casing, and an electrical connecting unit for connecting the battery unit to the internal power unit when the arm members are mounted to the housing.
Abstract:
A method for artificial intelligence monitoring and protecting battery performance is provided. The method includes determining whether a temperature and a current of a battery cell of a battery pack are within a limit specification. The method includes obtaining a maximum current power when the temperature and the current of the battery pack are within the limit specification. The method includes performing an operation based on the maximum current power.
