Abstract: A single-chip device for driving a panel including fingerprint sensing pixels, display pixels and touch sensors, electronic module therefor, and electronic apparatus are provided. The single-chip device comprises a main body, a first group of pads and a second group of pads disposed in the main body. The first group of pads comprise first pads for driving the fingerprint sensing pixels, and are disposed on at least one of a left portion and a right portion of the main body with respect to an axis. The second group of pads comprise second pads for driving the display pixels and the touch sensors, and are disposed on at least another one of the left portion and the right portion, wherein at least one group of the first group of pads and the second group of pads are disposed only on the one of the left portion and the right portion.

Abstract: A display device and a detection method applied to the display device are provided. The display device includes a display panel, a source control circuit, and a leakage estimation circuit. The display panel includes pixels being arranged in M columns, wherein at least one panel-partition is defined on the display panel. The source control circuit includes M source drivers which respectively provide data voltages to the M columns of pixels. The leakage estimation circuit includes an evaluation circuit, a defect detection circuit, and a mode-switch. The evaluation circuit controls the defect detection circuit to perform a leakage estimation procedure so that a leakage current corresponding to the panel-partition is estimated when the at least one mode-switch is turned on.

Abstract: A method of phase calibration for a system to control a double data rate memory device includes setting a scanning frequency at an initial value to determining if a built-in self-test passes, decreasing the scanning frequency by a frequency decrement and then performing the BIST again until the BIST passes, performing a phase calibration procedure to obtain a phase window with respect to the scanning frequency and obtain a target phase obtained based on the phase window to determine if the scanning frequency is lower than a maximum value, and increasing the scanning frequency by a frequency increment and then performing the phase calibration procedure again, until the scanning frequency being determined not lower than the maximum value.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus and method for a high dynamic range effect includes a conversion circuit, a specular detection circuit, and a blending circuit. The conversion circuit converts first pixel data of the current pixel of a current frame to a second pixel data, wherein a luminance of the second pixel data is lower than a luminance of the first pixel data. The specular detection circuit detects a specular degree of the current frame to produce a specular map, wherein the specular map includes a specular degree value of a current pixel. The blending circuit blends the first pixel data and the second pixel data according to the specular degree value of the current pixel to obtain blended pixel data of the current pixel.
