Abstract: A cell performs beam management operations for a user equipment (UE). The cell transmits a first group of multiple reference signals via a first transmission reception point (TRP) to a user equipment (UE), transmits a second group of multiple reference signals via a second different TRP to the UE, receives an indication that the UE has selected a first beam associated with one of the multiple reference signals of the first group and a second beam associated with one of the multiple reference signals of the second group and transmits downlink data to the UE using the first beam and the second beam.

Abstract: A cellular base station (BS) which transmits more flexible downlink control information (DCI) to the UE, and a UE capable of receiving and processing a received DCI message. The DCI message may have a DCI format of 0_1 or 0_2 and further may comprise an UL-SCH set to 0, a CSI request field of all 0s and an SRS request field having a nonzero value. The DCI message may indicate to the UE that the UE should: 1) transmit an aperiodic SRS corresponding to SRS request; and 2) that the UE should not transmit on the PUSCH. The DCI may include existing fields that specify either a slot offset or beam information useable when transmitting the aperiodic SRS. The base station may also generate a DCI message with an SRS trigger that is targeted to a plurality of UEs in a group, or a plurality of groups of UEs, for greater efficiency.

Abstract: A method for operating user equipment (UE) includes generating, by the UE, a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) list including one or more TPMIs selected from a set of available TPMIs stored at a base station (BS). Data indicative of the TPMI list is transmitted to the BS. An index of the TPMI list is transmitted to the BS. Downlink control information (DCI) is received from the BS including an indication of at least one TPMI from the TPMI list based on the index. Uplink data is transmitted to the BS on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using the at least one TPMI.

Abstract: Uplink transmissions of a mobile device (UE) may be improved in a number of ways. Uplink Transmission Time Interval (TTI) bundling, including both Type-A and Type B PUSCH repetitions, may be implemented with variable TTI bundle sizing. The TTI bundle size may be determined by a base station and communicated to the UE explicitly, or may be determined by the UE implicitly, based on an indicated repetition number and frequency hopping number. The UE may also report frequency hopping (FH) assist information to the base station for use by the base station to more efficiently configure FH for the uplink transmissions. Finally, the UE may use (or maintain) the same transmission power, for each TTI transmit occasion of the same TTI bundle in order to improve (cross-slot) channel estimation accuracy. Power allocation may be prioritized to ensure that at the same time a total power for the uplink transmissions of the UE does not exceed a specified threshold.

An example embodiment can include a user equipment (UE) configured to receive a first indication as to a multi-panel simultaneous transmission scheme for simultaneous transmission of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission in the frequency domain (FD) based on a radio resource control (RRC) transmission, the PUCCH transmission including a first PUCCH transmission through a first panel over a first FD part and a second PUCCH transmission through a second panel over a second FD part. The UE can transmit the first PUCCH transmission through first panel over the first FD part via the multi-panel simultaneous transmission scheme. Abstract: Systems and methods for using hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebooks to as part of acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) signaling regarding multiple physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions (also termed “multi-PDSCH”) scheduled by a single downlink control information (DCI) corresponding to multiple candidate PDSCH monitoring occasions are discussed herein. Rate matching indicators for one, multiple, or all of the PDSCHs of a scheduled multi-PDSCH are discussed. Effects of invalid symbol signaling, where one or more resources corresponding to a candidate PDSCH monitoring occasion corresponding to the DCI has been indicated for uplink (UL) use or not for DL use by a base station, are discussed. Effects of a bandwidth part change (in UL or downlink (DL)) occurring near or during the DCI, the multi-PDSCH, and a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) containing the ACK/NACK signaling (e.g., containing or corresponding to all or part of the HARQ-ACK codebook) are discussed.

The UE can further determine whether to generate a powerhead report (PHR) based on the measured first path loss change and measured second path loss change. The UE can further generate the PHR based on the determination.
