    Abstract: A method for processing at least one digital image for reproduction on a display device. The image includes image elements, an image element being associated with color information having, in a first color space, a luminance component and chrominance components. The method includes the following acts: determining a number of image elements, known as “bright” elements, at least the luminance component of which has a value greater than a first predetermined threshold; evaluating a maximum tolerated brightness value as a decreasing function of the number of counted image elements; and transforming the first luminance components of the image elements to second luminance components, including for an image element, calculating an intermediate luminance value by applying an expansion exponent to the first luminance component value and multiplying the intermediate value calculated by the evaluated maximum tolerated luminosity value.

    Abstract: A method for transmitting a multi-carrier signal implementing an OQAM-type modulation, formed of a temporal succession of symbols including data elements modulating a carrier frequency of the signal. A carrier frequency modulated by one of the data elements is called a carrier, wherein a set of carriers is allocated to a transmitter unit. The method includes inserting a sequence of pilots specific to the transmitter unit at a given time into the multi-carrier signal on the allocated set of carriers. The sequence of pilots includes: a sequence of non-zero complex values, inserted on odd or even carriers, alternating with zero values, inserted on the other carriers, respectively even or odd-numbered; non-zero complex values of the sequence of pilots, their frequency transforms and inverse frequency transforms being with a constant envelope; and and a sequence of zero values modulating the carriers of the set of carriers allocated at the following time.

    Abstract: In the context of a transmission of data for a multipath communication from source terminal equipment to destination terminal equipment, the method: establishes, on at least one multipath communication path, a plurality of connections with the destination terminal equipment; for each path on which a said plurality of connections was established, selecting to make it active at least one connection among the plurality of established connections, the other established connections being put in reserve; distributing the data between the selected connections, referred to as active connections, in accordance with at least one predefined distribution rule, and transmitting the distributed data.     Abstract: A method for processing a digital image for rendering on a display. The image includes image elements associated with color information represented in a colorimetric space having a luminance and chrominance components. The luminance component has a value in a first predetermined interval. The display can render values of luminance components included in a second predetermined interval, of greater length than the first interval. The method includes: determining information representative of image brightness perceived by an observer, based on the values of the first luminance component; calculating an expansion exponent as a function of the determined brightness information; transforming the first luminance components into second luminance components, including calculating an intermediate luminance value by applying the calculated expansion exponent to the first luminance component value and multiplying the intermediate value by the length of the second interval. The expansion exponent is a decreasing function of the determined brightness information.

    Abstract: A method of tracking a clinical target in a current image of a sequence of digital medical images, with respect to a reference image of the sequence. The method includes: obtaining a segmentation of a contour of the target from the reference image; determining a region delimiting the interior of the segmented contour of the target in the reference image; obtaining a confidence measurement per image element in the determined region for the reference and current images; deforming the contour by minimising a cost function based on an intensity difference between the current and reference images in the determined region, the cost function being weighted by the confidence measurements; and adapting the reference image at least from the intensities of the current image and the current image confidence measurements in the target region, the cost function taking into account the intensities of the adapted reference image.
