摘要: Disclosed herein is technology to reduce latency of frames through a network device supporting various priorities. In an implementation, a method comprises configuring one or more priorities with a preemptive right over other one or more of said plurality of priorities; receiving frames in a sequence, each of the frames having a frame priority comprising of one of said plurality of priorities; queuing the received frames in a predetermined order based on a frame arrival time and the frame priority; transmitting a current frame based on a current frame priority and current frame arrival time; stopping transmission of the current frame when a later frame in the sequence is received that has a later frame priority with preemptive right over the current frame priority; transmitting an invalid frame check sequence; transmitting the later frame; and restarting the transmission of the current frame after transmitting the later frame.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for dynamically controlling requestor device queues by monitoring and utilizing the throughput rate of matched provider devices and requestor devices. In some embodiments, the disclosed systems determine throughput rate of matched provider devices and requestor devices in real-time and/or predicts throughput rate utilizing historical features of a particular location. The disclosed systems can generate and provide queue request notifications to requestor devices based on a throughput rate at the location. Specifically, the disclosed systems can monitor a current queue status over time, compare the queue status to a queue threshold, and dynamically generate queue request notifications that reflects throughput-based queue modifiers as the current queue status approaches the queue threshold.

摘要: A method of transferring data between a memory controller and at least one memory module via a primary data bus having a primary data bus width is disclosed. The method includes accessing a first one of a memory device group via a corresponding data bus path in response to a threaded memory request from the memory controller. The accessing results in data groups collectively forming a first data thread transferred across a corresponding secondary data bus path. Transfer of the first data thread across the primary data bus width is carried out over a first time interval, while using less than the primary data transfer continuous throughput during that first time interval. During the first time interval, at least one data group from a second data thread is transferred on the primary data bus.

摘要: A communication system and an operation method thereof are provided. The transmitting device transmits the current data unit and the transmitted data verification information to the receiving device through the communication interface, and records the current data unit in an FIFO buffer. The receiving device counts the received data identification value by itself based on the current data unit received from the communication interface. The receiving device uses the received data identification value and the transmitted data verification information to check whether the current data unit received from the communication interface has errors. When the current data unit is in error, the receiving device returns an error flag to the transmitting device so that the transmitting device suspends the transmission of the new data unit, and transmits the buffered data unit recorded in the FIFO buffer to the receiving device through the communication interface.

摘要: Disclosed is a data flow classification device including a forwarding circuit and a configuring circuit. The forwarding circuit looks the classification of an input flow up in a lookup table according to the information of the input flow, tags the packets of the input flow with the classification, and outputs the packets to a buffer circuit. The configuring circuit receives and stores the identification and traffic information of multiple flows, and accordingly calculates the traffic of the multiple flows, wherein the multiple flows include the input flow. The configuring circuit further determines an elephant flow threshold according to a queue length of the buffer circuit and a target length, determines the classifications of the multiple flows according to the comparison between the traffic of the multiple flows and the elephant flow threshold, and stores these classifications in the lookup table.
