    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for joining a plated steel sheet, in which at least one of a first steel sheet and a second steel sheet is a plated steel sheet, and the first and second steel sheets overlapped with each other are subjected to an arc spot welding. The method includes press-working the first steel sheet into a desired shape and at the same time forming a linear groove on an overlapping surface with the second steel sheet of the first steel sheet, overlapping the first and second steel sheets, and setting a welding torch with the groove as a target position, and performing the arc spot welding so as to overlap the groove when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the overlapping surface.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing an additively-manufactured object in which deposition is performed by melting and solidifying a metal depending on three-dimensional shape data of a target shape, includes: acquiring the three-dimensional shape data; creating a deposition plan in which a formation track and a heating condition of the metal are determined; determining a difference between a shape of the additively-manufactured object that thermally contracts by cooling after deposition and a shape of the three-dimensional shape data by an operation; modifying the deposition plan until the difference falls within a predetermined allowable range; and additively manufacturing the additively-manufactured object based on the deposition plan in which the difference falls within the allowable range.

    Abstract: A screw extruder for extruding a kneaded material, includes: a pair of screws; a casing that houses the pair of screws and includes a supply port; and a roller-die. Each of the screws includes a shaft portion, and a spiral flight portion. The flight portion is formed into a shape in which a radial distance between the surface of the shaft portion and a tip of the flight portion decreases gradually toward a downstream end in an extrusion direction of a kneaded material. The casing has a tapered shape. Within a range between a downstream end of the supply port and a downstream end of the flight portion, a clearance between a top portion of the flight portion and an inner wall surface of the casing at the downstream end of the supply port is larger than a clearance at any other part.

    Abstract: A resistance-spot-welded aluminum joint having a type of a nugget that can reduce variations in cross tension strength. The resistance-spot-welded aluminum joint is obtained by layering a plurality of aluminum members and welding the aluminum members together by resistance spot welding. In a cross section of an interface between the aluminum members, a weld nugget formed as a result of the resistance spot welding has a plurality of blowholes aggregated in a central area of the weld nugget within the interface. In a cross section taken in a layered direction of the aluminum members extending through the center of the weld nugget, a blowhole with a maximum size of the plurality of blowholes is formed at a position where the blowhole extends through a center line of the weld nugget extending in the layered direction.
