摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a liquefied fuel oil using biomass as a feedstock, in which a relatively inexpensive liquefaction apparatus is used; a good balance is maintained between the liquefaction of water-insoluble lignin and the liquefaction of water-soluble cellulose to achieve a high yield of the liquefied fuel oil based on the biomass solids content; and the amount of ash derived from an alkali catalyst and the like is low. The method for producing a liquefied fuel oil using biomass as a feedstock is characterized by adding, to biomass comprising lignocellulose, a solvent comprising an organic solvent and having a moisture content adjusted to 10 to 25 wt %, including moisture contained in the biomass, and liquefying the biomass at a temperature of 250 to 350° C.

摘要: A valve (6) for supplying the external air to the inside of an upper casing (5a) is provided to the upper casing (5a), and when the operation of a gas turbine is stopped, the external air is introduced from the upper casing (5a) to the inside of the casing (5). When the external air is introduced from the upper casing (5a), the upper casing (5a) is cooled to prevent thermal deformation of the casing (5).

摘要: A gas turbine combustor transition piece outlet structure enabling a reduction in the temperature difference of a flange formed at the transition piece outlet. A flange is formed with a cooling medium channel along the inner circumference, cooling medium channels along the left and right side surfaces, and heating medium channels along the top and bottom surfaces. By cooling the inner circumference or the side surfaces of the flange by a cooling medium or heating the top and bottom surfaces of the flange by a heating medium, the temperature difference of the flange is reduced. Note that as the cooling medium, it is possible to use compressed air, low temperature steam, or fuel, while as the heating medium, it is possible to use high temperature steam or combustion gas.

摘要: A control method for controlling a facsimile communication between a transmitter and a receiver is provided. During protocol procedure, information including decoding speed and capacity of a buffer memory is supplied from the receiver to the transmitter. Then, during data transmission, the transmitter controls the encoding speed to be equal to or smaller than the decoding speed at the receiver by inserting an appropriate number of fillbits, and the encoding operation is interrupted, resumed or a predetermined number of fillbits are inserted depending upon the number of bits stored in the buffer memory of the receiver.

摘要: A transmission control system for a facsimile transceiver allows two facsimile transceivers having different buffer memory sizes and decoding rates different from encoding rates to intercommunicate within a short period of time. Start and stop of encoding and insertion of fill bits are controlled on the basis of an amount of data stored in a buffer memory of a transmitting transceiver, which temporarily stores encoded data, and various conditions associated with a receiving transceiver, so that the number of bits encoded data per line is averaged over a plurality of lines. This decreases the transmission time and, thereby, increases the transmission rate without resorting to an increase in the processing rate of a reader or that of a recorder or an increase in modem rate.
