    摘要： A method and system for managing storage of scanned document in Multi-Function Printer (MFP). The method comprises receiving document and request for scanning the document. Further, the method comprises determining options for storing the document, based on properties for scanning the document and current capacity of storage unit. Each of the options indicates image file format for the document and at least one of color mode or image resolution for the document. Furthermore, the method comprises providing the options for receiving selection from user. Thereafter, the method comprises storing, the scanned version of the document in the storage unit, based on option selected by the user. The method and system ensures that the scanning of the document is performed even when the sufficient capacity is not available in the MFP.

The image processing device may determine whether or not a particular event is occurring. The image processing device may first-store the received print data in a memory when the particular event is not occurring. The image processing device may send the device identifying information to a push notification server when the particular event has ended. The image processing device may second-receive print data from the information processing device corresponding to the sent device identifying information. The image processing device may third-store the received print data in the memory. The image processing device may print using the print data stored in the memory at least one of the first-storing and the third-storing.

    摘要： An image joining method for a scanner that scans and transfers image data to a terminal is provided. During scanning and data transfer, when the image data stored in a register is full, an image processor stops the scanning of a linear photodetector. Meanwhile, a matrix photodetector fetches and stores the image of a code strip. Then, the photodetectors are moved backward a distance larger than that being required to be accelerated forward when the scanner resumes scanning. After the data in the register being transferred and cleared, the linear photodetector resumes scanning at a normal moving speed. The code strip image is further fetched and compared with the stored one to get a joining point of scanned image data. By the joining point, the new and prior image data portions are joined and the scanning proceeds, and joined image data will not be overlapped or broken.

    摘要： Information about a user is sent to a server from a device to perform authentication. A scan document generated by scanning a paper document is sent to the server from the device to request registration thereof. If the scan document, the registration of which has been requested from the device, has a size that exceeds free space in a contract area, the server extracts a document that meets a save condition from documents that should be stored in the contract area. The server then moves the extracted document from the contract area into a temporary area so as to register in the contract area the scan document the registration of which has been requested from the device. The server notifies a predetermined destination of information about the document moved into the temporary area.
