Abstract:
A refrigerator with first and second chambers includes a compressor configured to compress a refrigerant, a condenser configured to condense the compressed refrigerant while cooling the refrigerant, a first evaporator configured to evaporate the refrigerant to cool the first chamber, a second evaporator configured to evaporate the refrigerant to cool the second chamber, and a valve mechanism connected to control a flow of the refrigerant relative to the evaporators in three different modes. The valve mechanism is configured to provide the refrigerant to the first evaporator and not the second evaporator in a first mode, to provide the refrigerant to the second evaporator and not the first evaporator in a second mode, and to provide the refrigerant to the first and second evaporators in a third mode. In the third mode, the refrigerant may pass the first and second evaporators sequentially or in parallel.
Abstract:
A coil spring in accordance with the present invention includes inner coils formed as a wire is wound plural times; and an inflection portion having a nonlinear shape and formed at an outer circumferential surface of the end coil, which is positioned toward the inner coil. When connected to other component and is constricted and relaxed to absorb an impact or a vibration transmitted from the outside, the coil spring minimizes friction generated between itself and other components so that reliability of a reciprocating compressor having the coil spring can be improved.
Abstract:
A refrigerating system includes: an evaporator (2) for performing a cooling operation as a refrigerant is evaporated; a compressor (4) for compressing the refrigerant discharged from the evaporator as a mover is reciprocally moved; a condenser (86) for changing the refrigerant compressed in the reciprocating compressor to a liquid refrigerant; and a capillary tube (8) for decompressing the refrigerant discharged from the condenser and transferring it to the evaporator. Hydrocarbon consisting of carbon and hydrogen, a sort of natural refrigerant, is used as the refrigerant, and a paraffin-based lubricant, a sort of a mineral oil, is used as the lubricant, so that a lubricating performance and a performance of the refrigerating system can be improved.
Abstract:
A service handover control apparatus and a method using the apparatus are provided. The service handover control apparatus includes a service handover management unit collecting information associated with a transmitting terminal and a wireless access network, which operate based on an Internet Protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS), and outputting a control signal which controls service handovers of the transmitting terminal and the receiving terminal based on the collected information; and a service handover controller providing the service handover management unit with the information associated with the transmitting terminal and the receiving terminal, and controlling the service handovers of the transmitting terminal and the receiving terminal based on the control signal.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a refrigerator. The present invention improves a structure of a door and a storage basket, thereby making it possible to facilitate the storage and a drawing out of articles.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting/receiving a frame between a portable terminal and a base station in a wireless broadband Internet network are provided. More particularly, a method of transmitting/receiving frames can include activating a session between the portable terminal and the base station, removing at least one header information field included in an Internet protocol (IP) datagram after activating the session, adding a network header which sets a predetermined transport connection identifier (TCID) to the IP datagram, generating the frame, and transmitting the generated frame via the activated session. Preferably, the frame is generated in any one of the portable terminal and the base station, and transmitted to the other one of the portable terminal and the base station.
Abstract:
An access router including a module buffering first data to be transmitted to a first mobile station, and transmitting the first data to a second access router when the first mobile station moves to the second access router. Methods of processing a handover by the access router during a handover of the mobile station are also described.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for managing a Media Independent Handover (MIH) service is provided. The MIH service management method includes setting state information of a Media Independent Handover Function (MIHF), and managing MIH services based on the set state information of the MIHF.
Abstract:
A broadband wireless communication system is provided. An apparatus for an information server (IS) comprises an event module for determining whether updating the network information of at least one access network (AN) is needed, a generator module for generating at least one Information_Get_Request packet for requesting the network information of the at least one AN when the updating is needed, a communication module for transmitting at least one Information_Get_Request packet to the at least one AN, and a database (DB) module for storing network information within an Information_Get_Response packet received from the at least one AN.
Abstract:
A system and method for reserving resources for a Mobile Node (MN) having a plurality of wireless network interfaces in a mobile network under a multi-homed environment are provided, wherein the MN transmits query messages requesting a path be setup to a plurality of Access Routers (ARs) accessible through the wireless network interfaces, a Crossover Router Node (CRN), shared by a plurality of paths running to a CN via the ARs, selects an optimal path from among the plurality of paths using the path information set in the query messages propagated through the plurality of paths, the CRN transmits the resource reserve message through the selected optimal path, and the routers existing in the optimal path reserve resources according to the resource reserve message.
