Abstract:
Provided is a method for a user equipment performing a handover in a wireless communication system. The method comprises a step of receiving from a source cell a handover command message, which indicates the handover to a target cell, and a step of performing the handover to the target cell, wherein the handover command message includes information on a low-interference wireless resource to be used by the user equipment inside the target cell. The low-interference wireless resource can be a wireless resource which is operated by the source cell in order to mitigate inter-cell interference, when the source cell is an interfering cell and the target cell is an interfered cell.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for coordinating inter-cell interference and a base station using same. A first base station receives from the second base station a configuration request message for requesting a radio resource setting to coordinate inter-cell interference. The first base station transmits to the second base station a configuration response message as a response to the configuration request message.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for measuring which is performed by a user equipment in a wireless communication system. The method comprises the following steps: receiving from a serving cell an interference area indication setting including information which permits the user equipment to transmit the interference area indication; deciding whether a limited measurement is necessary; and transmitting the interference area indication for indicating that the limited measurement is necessary to the serving cell, receiving a limited resource measurement setting as a reply to the interference area indication, and performing the measurement based on the limited resource measurement setting, when the limited measurement is decided as necessary.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for supporting a closed subscriber group (CSG) service is provided. A user equipment determines whether a neighbor cell is a CSG member cell for which a CSG whitelist includes a CSG identity of the neighbor cell and PLMN identities of the neighbor cell. The user equipment sends a CSG membership indicator indicating whether the neighbor cell is the CSG member cell.
Abstract:
Disclosed is the radio (wireless) communication system providing a radio communication service and the terminal, and more particularly, to a method for restricting a use of particular control channel in an Evolved Universal Mobile telecommunications System (E-UMTS) evolved from the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) or a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system.
Abstract:
A method of performing a logged measurement in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes: receiving by a user equipment a measurement configuration from a network, wherein the measurement configuration includes a logging interval; detecting by the user equipment a mobility state of the user equipment; adjusting by the user equipment the logging interval on the basis of the detected mobility state; and logging by the user equipment a measurement by using the adjusted logging interval.
Abstract:
A method of moving a receiving window in a wireless mobile communication system, wherein the AM RLC of the transmitting side sends information of the last discarded SDU regardless of continuity of the discarded SDUs. The AM RLC of the receiving side checks whether all SDUs from the start point of the receiving window up to the last discarded SDU are successfully received, delivers the SDUs that are successfully received to an upper layer, and discard only those SDUs that are not successfully received.
Abstract:
A method of performing a random access channel (RACH) procedure between a mobile terminal and a network includes the steps of detecting whether a random access response (RAR) is received from the network within a certain time period, the RAR including information about a random access channel (RACH) preamble transmitted to the network; and if the RAR is not received within the certain time period or if the information about the transmitted RACH preamble included in the RAR does not match the transmitted RACH preamble, performing a first procedure to detect failures in the RACH procedure; and if the RAR is received within the certain time period and if the information about the transmitted RACH preamble included in the RAR matches the transmitted RACH preamble, performing a second procedure to detect failures in the RACH procedure.
Abstract:
A method of receiving system information performed by a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes receiving, from a network, an indicator indicating a change of system information related to a point-to-multipoint service on a physical control channel, and receiving changed system information related to the point-to-multipoint service in response to the indication.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method in which a terminal carries out channel quality measurement in a power-efficient fashion in a mobile communication system in which carrier aggregation is employed. If the terminal supports measurement based on serving cell quality, then an additional judgment is made as to whether the terminal is configured for simultaneous communication with a plurality of serving cells and, if the terminal does support measurement based on serving cell quality and is configured for simultaneous communication with a plurality of serving cells, then a decision is made as to whether the quality-representing value for the plurality of serving cells is at or above a threshold value and, if the quality-representing value for the plurality of serving cells is at or above the threshold value, then a quality measurement is carried out within a limited range taking into account the plurality of serving cells.
