Abstract:
A switch circuit includes a balanced line connected between one end of an unbalanced line having another end connected to an input terminal and an output terminal and a balanced line connected between the one end of the unbalanced line and an output terminal. On each of the balanced lines, a plurality of quarter-wave transmission lines are connected in cascade, and each of a plurality of FETs, whose impedance is controllable, is connected between one pair of transmission lines constituting a balanced line for each interconnection point between the transmission lines, so that the power of a signal is distributed to both of the pair of transmission lines, and therefore the inputted power becomes half on each balanced line, thereby making it possible to prevent a DC-like current from flowing when the FET is in an off state even if a high frequency signal with high power is inputted.
Abstract:
There are included a Wilkinson divider/combiner dividing an input signal, amplifying elements amplifying outputs of the Wilkinson divider/combiner, and a Wilkinson divider/combiner combining outputs of respective amplifying elements. A variable capacitor element is connected to a branch point of a signal transmission path in the Wilkinson divider/combiner. A capacitance value of the variable capacitor element is controlled in correspondence with a frequency of an input signal, whereby a matching frequency is corrected to increase an operating frequency band.
Abstract:
In a silently operating pilot-operated flow regulating valve, a main valve element is not allowed to vibrate freely, e.g., in lateral direction in an opened state and cannot constitute a noise source because while the main valve element is brought into its open position, an urging force acts upon the main valve element so as to tilt it into vibration suppressing contact with the valve seat whereby vibration of the main valve element is restricted.
Abstract:
Both the front and rear surfaces and side of a disc-shaped workpieces W transferred along a transfer path 2 are washed by forward-rotating rollers 15a that contact the workpieces while rotating in a forward direction and backward-rotating rollers 15b that contact the workpieces while rotating in a backward direction, the respective types of rollers being located on the respective sides of the transfer path.
Abstract:
In a cowling fastening structure (1) for fastening a first cowling member (2) and a second cowling member (3) to each other by using a clip (30), the two cowling members are provided with opposing walls (13, 21) having a mutually aligned through holes (15, 26) formed therein, the clip is provided with a first member (31) and a second member (32) joined by a hinge (33). A free end of the first member formed with an engagement hole (39) is passed through the through holes, and a free end of the second member formed with an engagement claw (44) is passed around the opposing walls so as to engage the engagement claw with the engagement hole.
Abstract:
Provided is a substrate with a built-in electronic component that can minimize an occurrence of a deformation such as warping or distortion of the substrate with a built-in electronic component, which is caused by a difference in rigidity between a region of low rigidity and a region of high rigidity that are formed in a core layer thereof. In the substrate with a built-in electronic component, electronic components 12 are respectively housed in a plurality of housing portions 11a1 that are formed in a core layer 11a, and in the core layer 11a, a plurality of openings 11a2 filled with an insulator 11k are formed.
Abstract:
In a motorcycle in which an internal combustion engine including a crankcase, a cylinder, and a cylinder head is attached to a vehicle body frame, an exhaust system includes an exhaust pipe connected to the cylinder head, and a resonator having a communication hole in communication with an inside of the exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe is curved after being extended forward from the cylinder head and is then extended rearward in such a manner as to pass by a lateral side of the cylinder above the crankcase, while the resonator is arranged in a space between the exhaust pipe and the cylinder, and is joined to a side surface of the exhaust pipe facing inwardly of the motorcycle.
Abstract:
An exterior member such as a shroud, for a saddle-type vehicle including a head pipe and a main frame extending rearward from the head pipe, has a hook member formed on an inner side thereof. The hook member is configured for being engaged onto the main frame such that the exterior member is supported by the main frame. The exterior member is locked to the vehicle by engaging the hook member onto the main frame, thereby supporting the exterior member on the main frame. Such arrangement enables the exterior member to be affixed to the frame with a simple structure, without detrimentally affecting the external appearance of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A muffler of a motorcycle having an outside diameter greater than the outside diameter d1 of a rectilinear portion of a branch pipe is disposed at a transverse portion of an exhaust pipe. Since the muffler is formed to be roughly elliptic in sectional shape, the outside diameter of the muffler is represented by a major diameter da as the length in the direction of a major axis and a major diameter db as the length in the direction of a minor axis. When the muffler is disposed between a swing arm and a seat to be along the transverse portion of the exhaust pipe, the muffler can be disposed on the more vehicle front side while securing the capacity thereof. Therefore, protrusion of the muffler toward the rear of the vehicle is suppressed, and the external appearance of a vehicle rear portion is enhanced.
Abstract:
Foot rests are provided for a saddle-ride type vehicle each including a step portion for placing a foot and an attachment portion which extends from the step portion toward a vehicle body frame and is turnably attached to a corresponding one of step brackets on the vehicle-body-frame side. The step portion includes: a first foot-placing portion, a second foot-placing portion, and a third foot-placing portion which extend in a vehicle width direction; a first reinforcement member and a second reinforcement member which connect the first foot-placing portion and the second foot placing portion; and a third reinforcement member and a fourth reinforcement member which connect the first foot-placing portion and the third foot-placing portion.
