Abstract:
The current invention relates to genetically engineered mice, cells derived from those mice, and polynucleotides and polypeptides corresponding to genes affected by the engineered mutation. The invention also relates to antibodies raised in a mouse of the invention. The invention further provides methods for using the mice, cells, polynucleotides, polypeptides and antibodies of the invention.
Abstract:
A keypad assembly (10) for use in a portable electronic device (8), includes a housing (14) and a key (12). The housing is substantially a flat board, and defines a recess and a hole (143, 145) therein. The key is mounted in the recess and the hole and is defined as in an original state when it is not operated. The key is capable of moving in different directions relative to the housing when it is manually operated. The key is defined as in an operational state when it is manually moved.
Abstract:
A side key assembly is mounted on a housing (60) which comprises a sidewall (610). A socket (62) is formed in the sidewall (610) of the housing. The side key assembly includes a button (70), two switches (80) and the socket. The button includes an operating portion (710), two touching blocks (740) and at least one elastic arm (750). The operating portion is slidingly received in the socket. One end of the at least one elastic arm connects with the operating portion while the other end is firmly fixed on the housing. Each switch includes a contact portion. Each contact portion is positioned adjacent to a corresponding touching block. Each switch is turned on when the corresponding touching block is moved to touch the contact portion thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to transgenic animals, as well as compositions and methods relating to the characterization of gene function. Specifically, the present invention provides transgenic mice comprising disruptions in PRO196, PRO217, PRO231, PRO236, PRO245, PRO246, PRO258, PRO287, PRO328, PRO344, PRO357, PRO526, PRO724, PRO731, PRO732, PRO1003, PRO1104, PRO1151, PRO1244, PRO1298, PRO1313, PRO1570, PRO1886, PRO1891, PRO4409, PRO5725, PRO5994, PRO6097, PRO7425, PRO10102, PRO10282, PRO61709 or PRO779 genes. Such in vivo studies and characterizations may provide valuable identification and discovery of therapeutics and/or treatments useful in the prevention, amelioration or correction of diseases or dysfunctions associated with gene disruptions such as neurological disorders; cardiovascular, endothelial or angiogenic disorders; eye abnormalities; immunological disorders; oncological disorders; bone metabolic abnormalities or disorders; lipid metabolic disorders; or developmental abnormalities.

Abstract:
A wire holder for fixing one or more wires on a plate of an electronic device includes a pair of latches formed on the plate defining a guiding slot therebetween in a lateral direction for containing the one or more wires. Each of the latches includes a main body, and an elastic arm extending from an end of the main body in the lateral direction. Each of the elastic arms includes a latching portion extending from a free end thereof for hooking the wire.
