    摘要: The present disclosure is drawn to LEP toners, systems, and methods of manufacturing LEP liquid toners. Specifically, a high NVS liquid toner can comprise a ground up admixture of a hydrocarbon carrier fluid, pigment particles, and a polymer paste having an NVS content of about 38 wt % to about 65 wt %. The resultant high NVS liquid toner has an NVS content of about 28 wt % to about 38 wt % and a viscosity of about 3,000 cPs to about 25,000 cPs.

The polymer blend can comprise a first polymer having a melt flow rate of about 20 to about 70 g/10 min and a Vicat softening point of about 60° C. to about 70° C., a second polymer having a melt flow rate of about 80 to about 120 g/10 min, and a third polymer having an acidity of about 160 to about 230 mg KOH/g and a melt flow rate of at least 500 g/10 min. The liquid electrophotographic ink is typically formulated for printing from a liquid electrophotographic printer.

    摘要: A system for automatic cleaning in a liquid ink printing system includes an ink tank, a pump which is configured pump a carrier liquid from the ink tank as a pressurized carrier liquid flow. A filter is configured to remove particulates from the pressurized carrier liquid flow to produce a filtered carrier liquid flow. A sprayer is configured to receive the filtered carrier liquid flow and spray the filtered carrier liquid flow into an interior of the ink tank. The pump recirculates the filtered carrier liquid flow through the filter and the sprayer. A method for automatic cleaning in a printing system is also included.

The composition comprises a liquid vehicle; ink particles; and a charge director system, comprising i) a primary charge component, ii) a secondary charge component, and iii) an electrical stability additive; such that the charge director system provides the following ink conductivities: a high field conductivity of about 100 pS/cm to about 500 pS/cm, a low field conductivity of about 20 pS/cm to about 200 pS/cm, a direct charge conductivity less than about 30 pS/cm, and a particle conductivity of at least 100 pS/cm. Additionally, the liquid electrophotographic ink can be formulated for printing from a liquid electrophotographic printer.
