摘要: A stent and stent catheter for intra-cranial use. The stent is a rolled sheet stent and is releasably mounted on the distal tip of the catheter with a low profile retaining tab. The stent is rolled tightly on the distal tip of the catheter and flexibility of the tightly rolled stent is promoted by ribbed or slatted construction (or, alternatively, slotted construction) in which the various layers of the stent are provided with numerous slats which counter align when the stent is expanded to form an imperforate wall from a plurality of perforate layers.

摘要: A multilayer golf ball with a solid center diameter in the range of about 1.40 to 1.52 inches, a ionomeric polymer mantle with a thickness of about 0.050 inches, and a hardness in the range of 50 to 55 Shore D and a polyurethane having a cover hardness in the range of 50 to 60 Shore D with a thickness of about 0.050 inches. The compression may be 50–60 PGA. The compression of the core may be 70–80 PGA. The compression of the above exemplary embodiment of the ball may be 80–90 PGA. A ball having such characteristics exhibits superior distance performance without compromising shot-making feel.

摘要: A stent and stent catheter for intra-cranial use. The stent is a rolled sheet stent and is releasably mounted on the distal tip of the catheter by means of a non-sliding retention and release mechanism. The non-sliding release mechanism is operated remotely at the proximal end of the catheter by means of a linear translator. The stent is rolled tightly on the distal tip of the catheter and flexibility of the tightly rolled stent is promoted by ribbed or slatted construction (or, alternatively, slotted construction) in which the various layers of the stent are provided with numerous slats which counter align when the stent is expanded to form an imperforate wall from a plurality of perforate layers.

摘要: In an inflatable structure, comprising a first inflatable beam, upon inflation the first inflatable beam extends from a first point of ground contact at a first point along the perimeter of the structure to a first position at a first elevation, from the first position at the first elevation to a second position at a second elevation and from the second position at the second elevation to a second point of ground contact at a second point along the perimeter of the structure. A second inflatable beam is coupled to the first inflatable beam, and upon inflation the second inflatable beam extends from a third point of ground contact at a third point along the perimeter of the structure to a third position at a third elevation, from the third position at the third elevation to a fourth position at a fourth elevation and from the fourth position at the fourth elevation to a fourth point of ground contact at a fourth point along the perimeter of the structure. Sheeting is coupled to the first inflatable beam and the second inflatable beam, wherein the sheeting provides shade, camouflage, protection from ultraviolet radiation, protection from extreme temperatures, or protection from solar loading for objects located under or within the inflatable structure.
