    摘要： Disclosed is color conversion method using a color look-up table. The method includes the steps of: generating a color look-up table using information on the difference of each channel before and after a conversion of each color; and converting the colors using the generated color look-up table. The step of generating the color look-up table includes identifying the maximum difference value among several difference values and generating a first compressed table to initially compress the difference values using the maximum difference value. Further, the step of generating the color look-up table further includes determining, using a predetermined algorithm, whether precedence bits can be removed in the difference values stored in the first compressed table, if yes, removing the corresponding checked bits and storing the converted channel value in a separate auxiliary color table and, if no, storing an index relating to the auxiliary color table as the corresponding difference value, and generating a secondary compressed table that secondarily compresses the initially compressed difference value and adding type information that indicates if information stored as each difference value is the difference value or the index.

    摘要： A screen display apparatus and method of measuring an ambient brightness by adjusting color quality of an output screen in a mobile terminal according to the ambient brightness, so that the visibility of the screen can be ensured in various environments. The includes measuring an ambient brightness of the mobile terminal, and generating a visibility adjustment event when a measured ambient brightness value is equal to or greater than a preset specific external brightness value. The received RGB signal is converted into first tristimulus values, then to L, a, b color space valueslightness (L), chroma (C), and hue (H) values using a predetermined equation. The brightness of an entire region of the image is adjusted and output on the display screen of the mobile terminal, and the chroma of each pixel region is adjusted by using the L, C, and H values.

    摘要： An apparatus and method for providing calorimetric information are provided. A camera photographs an image including a desired calorimetric portion. A controller computes a mean color value of the desired colorimetric portion from the photographed image and retrieves a colorimetric value mapped to the computed mean color value from a pre-stored color table. If the colorimetric value mapped to the computed mean color value is retrieved from the pre-stored color table, a display receives the retrieved calorimetric value from the controller and outputs the colorimetric value as colorimetric information of the desired calorimetric portion.
