Abstract:
A travelator conveyor is arranged such that an upper surface of a comb plate is at substantially the same level as a conveying surface. The conveyor includes a plurality of belt drums arranged parallel to one another transversely to a transport direction of the conveyor and a plurality of mutually parallel endless belt loops passing over the plurality of belt drums to define a moving conveying surface. The conveyor comb plate has a plurality of parallel spaced teeth between which some of the plurality of belt loops are arranged to pass. An upper surface of a first belt drum arranged at the end of the conveyor is at a lower level than an upper surface of a second belt drum such that upper portions of the belt loops passing between the comb plate teeth extend at an inclined angle with respect to the conveying surface.
Abstract:
A first handrail (2) of the travelator, moving ramp or escalator comprises an endless moving first handrail belt (3) formed as a loop and having a first handhold portion (4) that the passenger can grasp with a hand for support. The first handhold portion (4) has a posterior end (5) posterior in the conveying direction. To support and guide the handrail belt (3), the handrail (2) comprises a first handrail frame (6) having a first side (7). A second handrail (8) is placed after the first handrail in the conveying direction and alongside the conveyor on the same side with the first handrail and extending in a direction parallel to the first handrail (2). The second handrail (8) comprises a second moving endless handrail belt (9) formed as a loop and having an upper second handhold portion (10) that the passenger can grasp with a hand for support. The second handhold portion (10) has an anterior end (11) anterior in the conveying direction. To support and guide the handrail belt (9), the handrail (8) comprises a second handrail frame (12) having a second side (13), which is the side facing the aforesaid first side (7). The first handrail (2) and the second handrail (8) are mounted with a mutual overlap such that the posterior end (5) of the first handhold portion (4) is located substantially side by side with the anterior end (11) of the second handhold portion (10) so that a gap (14) remains between the first and second handhold portions. The first handrail (2) and/or the second handrail (8) comprise/comprises a guide element (15) to prevent the passenger's fingers from getting into the gap (14).
Abstract:
A people mover includes a conveyor and a protective skirting made from an extruded metal profile. The protective skirting is located adjacent to a side of the conveyor, with a narrow gap located between the protective skirting and the side to prevent objects from entering the gap when the conveyor is moving.
Abstract:
Elevator, preferably an elevator without machine room, comprising at least an elevator car (101) moving along guide rails (1), a counterweight (102) moving along guide rails (2) and an elevator motor (106) driving them, wherein the guide rails are fixed in place by means of guide fixing brackets (112). The width of the guide fixing bracket (112) in the vicinity of the car guide rails (1) is substantially equal to the width of the car guide rail plus the thickness of the rail clips in the guide fixing bracket.
Abstract:
An elevator, preferably an elevator without counterweight, which has an elevator car suspended by means of a set of hoisting ropes comprising one rope or a plurality of parallel ropes. The elevator has a traction sheave that moves the elevator car by means of the hoisting ropes. The elevator contains rope portions of hoisting ropes going upwards and downwards from the elevator car, and it has a compensating device acting on the hoisting ropes to equalize and/or compensate rope tension and/or rope elongation. The compensating device acting on the hoisting ropes of the elevator, said compensating device having at least a first range which is a structural operating range of the compensating device and at least a second range which is a preselected compensation range of the compensating device, is provided with at least one switching element for monitoring whether the compensating device remains within the preselected compensation range.
Abstract:
An elevator, preferably without counterweight, comprising a number of diverting pulleys in the upper part of the elevator shaft or equivalent, a number of diverting pulleys in the lower part of the elevator shaft and a number of diverting pulleys on the elevator car. The rope portions between the upwards-directed diverting pulleys on the elevator car and the diverting pulleys in the upper part of the elevator shaft are rigged when the car is in the upper part of the shaft, and the diverting pulleys between the downwards-directed diverting pulleys on the elevator car and the diverting pulleys in the lower part of the elevator shaft are rigged when the car is in the lower part of the shaft.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for installing/securing at least one diverting pulley of an elevator or equivalent comprising at least one rope pulley. According to the method, the diverting pulley together with the ropes or in a rigged state is arranged near the elevator or in the elevator shaft and the diverting pulley is placed on a mounting point by using a quick coupling. The invention also relates to an elevator or equivalent comprising at least one rope pulley (5) mounted in place by means of a frame structure (3) and a set of ropes (7, 7a, 7b) consisting of a number of ropes, the passage of which has been arranged using at least one set of diverting pulleys (6) in such manner that the set of diverting pulleys (6) has been arranged to be detachably mounted by means of a quick coupling. In addition, the invention relates to the use of a quick coupling for placing a set of diverting pulleys (6) on a fastening point in an elevator or equivalent.
Abstract:
A pallet arrangement for a travelator comprises a pallet body comprising a profiled bar having a predetermined size, at least one surface plate attached to the pallet body and forming a wearing surface, a wheel mounted on at least one end of the pallet body, and a fastening element mounted on at least one end of the pallet body. The fastening element is adapted to couple the pallet to an actuating device.
Abstract:
An elevator having an elevator car with a car frame on which are mounted a first set of diverting pulleys from which the hoisting ropes go downwards and a second set of diverting pulleys from which the hoisting ropes go upwards. The rope tension in the rope portions going from the diverting pulleys of the first set is smaller than the rope tension in the rope portions going from the diverting pulleys of the second set by a specified ratio. According to the invention, the diverting pulleys of the first set are at a larger average distance from the car frame than the diverting pulleys of the second set. In a possible inventive arrangement, the distance of an up-direction diverting pulley from the car frame is smaller by a specified ratio than the distance a corresponding down-direction diverting pulley.
Abstract:
An arrangement for mounting a stator winding in a stator of an elevator machine motor, where the stator may include a stator frame with a plurality of stator teeth and one or more slots between given stator teeth. The arrangement may include a winding frame configured to support the stator winding so that the winding is fitted in the slots and is adapted to be secured by fastening elements provided in the slots. The winding frame may include a frame bottom in contact with one or more side faces of given slots. The arrangement may include one or more flexible locking elements projecting from the frame bottom and adapted to be fit into holes provided in the slots. The locking elements may be inserted into corresponding holes to lock the winding frame and stator winding to the stator frame, as the winding frame is being pushed into the slots.
