Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for coding in a wireless communication network. A communication device interleave a first bit sequence to obtain a first interleaved sequence having sequence number starting with a sequence number of 0, wherein the first bit sequence comprises bits for indicating timing, wherein the bits for indicating timing comprises a set of bits for indicating synchronization signal block index (SSBI); wherein the set of bits for indicating SSBI are placed in positions indicated by sequence numbers of 2, 3 and 5 in the first interleaved sequence. The devices add d first CRC bits on the first interleaved sequence to obtain a second bit sequence, interleave on the second bit sequence according to an interleave pattern to obtain a second interleaved sequence, and polar encode the second interleaved sequence to obtain the encoded sequence.

Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method and an apparatus. The method includes: obtaining, by user equipment, to-be-sent user data; performing, by the user equipment, channel encoding on the to-be-sent user data to obtain N sets of encoded data; performing, by the user equipment, codebook mapping on each of the N sets of encoded data by using a codebook, to obtain N sets of codebook-mapped data, where different sets of encoded data use codebooks that occupy mutually different non-zero physical REs, the non-zero physical RE means a non-zero waveform obtained after mapped data is mapped to a physical RE, and N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2; and sending, by the user equipment, the N sets of codebook-mapped data to a base station.

Abstract: The technology of this application relates to a random access method, applied to the communication field. The method includes a terminal device sends, to a network device, a first message used to establish a wireless connection, the terminal device receives, a connection response sent by the network device, where the connection response includes information about a first polarization parameter, and when accessing the network device based on the connection response, the terminal device determines, based on the information about the first polarization parameter included in the connection response, whether the terminal device is qualified to access the network device. A dimension, namely, a polarization parameter, is introduced into a random access procedure, so that a preamble capacity is increased, a problem that the network device cannot identify a colliding terminal device is alleviated, and efficiency of establishing a communication connection between the terminal device and the network device is improved.

Abstract: A gateway station switching method and apparatus. When quality of a link from a terminal device to a source gateway station through a satellite is poor, the source gateway station sends third indication information to a target gateway station, so that the target gateway station feeds back second channel quality to the source gateway station, that is, quality of a link from the terminal device to the target gateway station through the satellite. The source gateway station determines, based on the second channel quality and first channel quality that represents the quality of the link from the terminal device to the source gateway station through the satellite, whether to switch the terminal device to the target gateway station.

Abstract: The disclosure provides information transmission methods and communication apparatuses. One example method includes that a receiving apparatus receives a synchronization signal and cell-specific information that are sent by a sending apparatus on a first beam, where the cell-specific information includes indication information which indicates whether there is beam-specific information, and the first beam comprises a plurality of second beams. In response to determining that the indication information indicates that there is the beam-specific information, the receiving apparatus receives beam-specific information of second beam of the plurality of second beams, where the beam-specific information is sent by the sending apparatus on the second beam, and the receiving apparatus is within coverage of the second beam. The receiving apparatus performs initial access using the synchronization signal, the cell-specific information, and the beam-specific information.

Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a terminal receives a first information by using a serving beam, where the first information indicates a delay compensation parameter corresponding to a target beam. The target beam and the serving beam are different beams. The terminal determines, based on a full timing advance and the delay compensation parameter corresponding to the target beam, a differential timing advance corresponding to the target beam.

Abstract: This application discloses a random access preamble configuration method applicable to a satellite network and a communication apparatus. In the method, a random access preamble location offset and duration of a PRACH occasion can be flexibly configured based on features of a satellite system. The method includes: A receiving apparatus receives first indication information, where the first indication information includes indication information used to identify the random access preamble location offset at the physical random access channel PRACH occasion. The receiving apparatus transmits a random preamble based on the first indication information, where the random preamble includes a sequence part and a guard time. Because a communication distance is relatively long and a transmission delay difference between users is relatively large in a satellite communication system, time domain resources occupied by the PRACH occasion can be minimized by using this method.
