    摘要: In general, the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in methods, systems, and program products for invoking a non-search action based on a search query. A server system receives a search query from a remote computing device. The server system determines whether the search query includes reserved text that indicates an intent by a user that provided the search query to the remote computing device to perform a non-search messaging action instead of or in addition to obtaining search results. The server system provides to the computing device, in response to determining that the search query includes the reserved text, code for causing the remote computing device to display a draft communication that includes at least the search query without the reserved text, and for allowing the user to edit the draft communication before transmitting the draft communication for receipt by recipient users.

    摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for transmitting data frames over data networks with varying Interframe Space (IFS) times are disclosed. A system embodiment may comprise a mobile computing device with an integrated wireless networking card. The card may receive a transmission of several data frames. While receiving the several data frames, the networking card may determine that a response will need to be transmitted back to the sending station after the sending station sends the last frame of data. After a short period of delay following the end of the last transmitted frame the card may immediately begin transmitting a preamble of the response, while still demodulating and processing data of the transmitted frames. Upon finishing data processing of the remaining frames, the card may generate the content for the rest of the response, such as a block acknowledgment.

    摘要: A conditional payload header suppression is disclosed to improve compression, by providing the flexibility to dynamically introduce fields/header bytes, which change temporarily or infrequently in packets. The embodiment also uses a dynamic mask as part of the payload header suppression packet to indicate which of the conditionally suppressed header bytes are present in the packet sent over the air or the communication medium. An embodiment of this invention increases the header compression for packets such as IP/UDP/RTP (VOIP) and TCP ACK in communication networks, such as WiMax.

    摘要: In one example, a first wireless communication station (STA) may be configured to identify an estimated end of a frame transmitted from a second STA to an Access point (AP); and to transmit a transmission to the AP within a Short-Inter-Frame-Space (SIFS) beginning at the estimated end of the frame from the second STA. For example, a duration of the transmission may be no longer than the SIFS. For example, the transmission to the AP may be on a same wireless communication channel as the frame from the second STA. In another example, an AP may be configured to process a frame from a first STA; and to process a transmission from a second STA, the transmission from the second STA received within a SIFS beginning at an end of the frame from the first STA.
