One wired communication path from the wireless base station (21) to one transmission apparatus (841) is switched to another wired communication path from the wireless base station (21) to another transmission apparatus (41) without re-establishing a wireless communication path between the mobile station and the wireless base station.

A receiving-side device includes a retransmission request transmitter configured to transmit, to a transmitting-side device, a retransmission request for requesting retransmission processing on each data unit of the data, when a reception error is detected in the data unit. The transmitting-side device includes a retransmission time storage configured to store a retransmission time at which the retransmission processing is performed on the data unit; and a retransmission controller configured to control so as not to perform the retransmission processing on the data unit related to a received retransmission request, when the retransmission time of the data unit is stored and a difference between the retransmission time and a current time is shorter than a retransmission prohibition period.

A switch halt period is variably set depending on whether a current transmission rate and a switched transmission rate are higher or lower, or in accordance with the number of remaining resources.

摘要： A mobile communication system for providing mobile communication service by radio to a mobile station is disclosed. The mobile communication system comprises base stations having a function of controlling hand-overs and in-coming and out-going calls necessary for providing the mobile communication service, and a multi-cell controlling station having a function of managing radio resources of plural base stations forming radio cells and selecting an optimum base station, and a function of allocating radio resources to the base stations. When at least one of the base station controls an in-coming or out-going call or controls a hand-over, if its own radio resource usage rate is lower than a threshold, the base station selects a base station to be allocated without communicating with the multi-cell controlling station.
