Abstract:
A miniaturized coin hopper device is provided so as to have a lower height. The device has an electric motor which is arranged such that the projection end of a rotated axis thereof is located at a lower side. A first gear is fixed on this projection end of rotated axis. A disk for discharging coins one by one is provided at the bottom of a hopper which stores the coins. A second gear rotates this disk. A gear train connects this second gear and the first gear. The problem of a true coin being disbursed when a pseudo-coin was stored in a hopper device and the return button was pushed is also addressed. A distinguishing element checks the money kind of a deposited coin. A reserve temporarily holds the coin distinguished by this distinction element. A storage for coins of same money kind and a disbursing element is provided for the the coin in this storage to return the coin reserved in the temporary reservation. A device is also provided to distribute the coin reserved in said temporary reservation to the storage.
Abstract:
A coin storage and dispensing apparatus for storing and dispensing coins from a gaming machine includes a frame member for mounting in the gaming machine and for positioning a respective first container device and a second container device at a diagonal angle to support a surface. The first and second container devices store loose bulk coins with a coin transporting device rotably mounted in the second container device to pick up coins and to drop them in the first container device. A transitional groove structure is provided for aligning coins with the coin transporting device. A pivotable support plate is directly mounted to the first container device to support its weight and a sensor can monitor the presence of coins in the first container device and activate the coin transporting device when a predetermined presence of coins is sensed.
Abstract:
A coin selector is provided which is adapted to electronically sample coins and compare the sampling data to stored data for genuine coins. The stored data can be preset or can be acquired and stored in memory by using a key coin. Data stored determines if a key coin is authentic and if it is, places the selector processor in a condition to accept and store new or modified data for determining the authenticity of other coins.
Abstract:
A device is set forth for dispensing circular plate bodies such as coins which has a channel to push the coins in an end-to-end relationship from to an outlet. A roller is biased to engage the coin emerging from the channel and to be pushed by the emerging coin as it exits. A gear on the shaft mounting the roller and a fixed rack rotates the roller to eject to coin.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The present invention provides a process for preparing a high-quality aliphatic nitrile in a high yield at a low cost without the dissolution of a catalyst in the product, which comprises reacting an aliphatic carboxylic acid, a lower alkyl ester thereof or a fatty acid glyceride with ammonia in the presence of a solid catalyst which exhibits a high activity even at a reaction temperature of as low as 300.degree. C. or below and is difficultly soluble in the reaction fluid; and a process for the preparation of amines by hydrogenating the aliphatic nitrile prepared by the above process. Namely, the present invention provides a process for the preparation of an aliphatic nitrile by reacting an aliphatic carboxylic acid, a lower alkyl ester thereof or a fatty acid glyceride with ammonia in the presence of a composite oxide catalyst comprising titanium oxide as the main component; and a process for the preparation of amines by hydrogenating the aliphatic nitrile prepared by the above process.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a socket for use with an electronic part, which is simple in structure and easily fabricated and in which a reliable contact between electrode terminals of the electronic part and those of a socket body is obtained when the electronic part is mounted or detached. Each electrode portion 1b of a socket body 10b has a sliding contact which contacts with an electrode terminal of the electronic part and whose contact point is movable by pushing of the electronic part against the socket body in a direction B perpendicular to the push, and a spring contact which biases with its degree of contact with the sliding contact increasing in proportion to a movable amount of the sliding contact.
Abstract:
A piezoelectric vibratory gyroscope utilizing an energy-trapping vibration mode comprises a piezo-electric plate having a principal surface and polarized in a thickness direction, and first through n-th electrodes (n being an integer not smaller than three) formed in a generally central area of the principal surface at positions corresponding to first through n-th vertexes of a polygon having n angles. When the piezoelectric plate is excited in the energy-trapping vibration mode of a primary vibration, rotation of the piezoelectric plate around an axis perpendicular to the principal surface of said piezoelectric plate produces the Coriolis force to excite a secondary vibration which induces electric voltages at the first through the n-th electrodes. A voltage difference is detected for at least two of the first through the n-th electrodes.
Abstract:
A disc loading/ejecting mechanism and a disc player including the same wherein a disc is clamped by a guide member and a roller during loading and ejection. The roller is tapered from its ends toward its central portion such that the smallest diameter is at the central portion. A guide top is pivotally connected to a casing of the disc player and includes lower surfaces in the shape of upside-down "V"s having inclined surfaces which come closer to the roller at both end portions thereof. Opposing edges of an inserted disc are clamped by the inclined surfaces and tapered portions of the roller. However, since the guide top pivots on a support shaft, the guide top follows the position of the disc so that uniform carrying force is always provided to the disc. When a disc having a small diameter is inserted at the deviated position, both edges of the small-diameter disc are securely clamped by the inclined surfaces and the tapered portions of the roller due to the pivoting of the guide top so that the small-diameter disc is securely ejected at once upon insertion thereof.
Abstract:
A pinhole inspecting apparatus is provided which can accurately and speedily inspect a pinhole on a closed container. The pinhole inspecting apparatus of the present invention comprises a pallet 1 for dischargeably containing a closed container 11 filled with a gas, the pallet 1 having a suction hole 13 such that when the suction hole 13 is closed the interior of the pallet is brought in closed condition, a gas leakage detecting unit 2 adapted to be connected at an inspecting position to the suction hole 13 for communication with the interior of the pallet 1, such that when a gas of the same kind as the first mentioned gas is present in that interior, the gas leakage detecting unit generates an analog signal having a voltage corresponding to amount of the leakage of the gas per unit time, an A/D converter 3 for converting the analog signal into a digital signal, and a first arithmetic unit 4 for finding from the digital signal a slope of a regression line representing the relationship between voltage and time, and calculating the difference between the value of the slope and a maximum slope value which has been preliminarily inputted with respect to a regression line for the same kind of gas in the air as the first mentioned gas, the first arithmetic unit being further operative to output an abnormality signal when the difference falls out of an allowable range therefor.
