    摘要: Currency processing systems, coin processing machines, computer-readable storage media, and methods of managing processed coins are presented herein. A method is presented for managing coins processed by a currency processing system. The method includes: receiving a batch of coins by the currency processing system; feeding the coins into a coin processing unit which includes one or more coin discriminating sensors; sorting the batch of coins into genuine fit target coins and reject coins; sorting the reject coins into a plurality of reject groups, each of which corresponds to a respective category of rejected coins; analyzing at least one of the reject groups to determine if any genuine target coins were mischaracterized and erroneously sorted into that reject group; and, crediting a user of the currency processing system for any genuine target coins in the reject group determined to have been mischaracterized and erroneously sorted.

    摘要: A coin processing apparatus determines an authenticity and a type of a received coin, holds a coin, which is determined to be an authentic coin, and then sorts and stores the coin for each type of coin and that further pays a stored coin in response to a coin drawing command. The coin processing apparatus includes a conveyor that conveys the coin. The conveyor includes a screw-type conveying member including a cylindrical shaft section, and a blade section provided on an outer circumference of the cylindrical shaft section in a helical fashion and protruding in a radial direction. The screw-type conveying member is rotated around a central axis of the shaft section so that a coin is conveyed.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a coin counting apparatus including: a frame in which an accommodation part is formed and a coin transfer channel connected to an outlet provided at a partition forming the accommodation part; a rotating transfer plate rotatably mounted in the accommodation part and including coin-accommodation grooves on a top surface thereof to transfer a coin; a coin-discharging roller unit configured to push the coin toward the outlet using rotational power of the coin to pass the coin through a counter sensing unit at a predetermined speed; and a coin detection unit including a light irradiation unit configured to emit a plurality of beams toward the coin transfer channel and an optical detection unit configured to detect beams reflected by coins to count the coins.
