    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a resource indication method and a communication device. The resource indication method includes: A first communication device receives first information sent by a second communication device, where the first information is used to indicate a first resource pattern and indicate a reserved resource determined by using the first resource pattern, the first resource pattern is used to determine a position corresponding to each of N resource sets, and N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1. The first communication device determines reserved resource based on the positions corresponding to the N resource sets and indicated by the first resource pattern, where the reserved resource is a resource unavailable to the first communication device. The first communication device determines not to transmit a signal by using the reserved resource.

    Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: A terminal device determines a first transmission time period and a second transmission time period, where the first transmission time period includes X1 time units, the second transmission time period includes X2 time units, and the first transmission time period does not overlap the second transmission time period. The terminal device sends a first reference signal in the first transmission time period and a first uplink signal in the second transmission time period, where the first uplink signal includes at least one of a PUSCH, a PUCCH, or a DMRS. Therefore, the terminal device may additionally send the first reference signal, to improve uplink channel estimation performance of a network device. This improves coverage performance of a communication system.

    Abstract: A reference signal sending and receiving method, an access network device, and a terminal device are provided. The method includes: determining, by an access network device, a demodulation reference signal DMRS pattern corresponding to an antenna port; sending, by the access network device, first indication information to a terminal device, where the first indication information indicates the DMRS pattern corresponding to the antenna port; and sending, by the access network device, a DMRS to the terminal device through the antenna port on a resource corresponding to the DMRS pattern. According to the embodiments of this application, the resource for transmitting the DMRS corresponding to the antenna port can be flexibly indicated by the DMRS pattern.
