    摘要: An internal voltage generator for memory bank peripheral circuitry, a semiconductor memory device having the internal voltage generator, and a method for generating an internal voltage are provided. A switchable internal voltage generating circuit according to the present invention includes a control section and an internal voltage generating circuit. The control section generates a control signal in response to a bank activation command and a bank activation signal for enabling memory banks. The internal voltage generating circuit receives a reference voltage, and responds to the control signal to output an internal voltage equal to the reference voltage. The control signal is enabled when the bank activation command and the bank activation signal are concurrently enabled. The bank activation signal is generated in response to a bank address. The internal voltage can be supplied only to peripheral circuits of the banks selected by the bank address, thereby preventing unnecessary power consumption, effectively controlling the internal voltage, and always properly supplying the internal voltage.

    摘要: A dynamic random access memory device includes a mode register set, a refresh period selector, and a bit organization selector. The mode register set outputs decoded signals having values according to a user-stored value in the mode register set. The mode register set can be accessed in response to an address externally supplied when a mode set command is applied. The refresh period selector generates a plurality of refresh period select signals in response to the decoded signals. A refresh counter in the device generates a sequence of row addresses having a timing according to a refresh period determined from an activated refresh period select signal. The bit organization select circuit generates a plurality of bit organization select signals in response to the decoded signals from the mode register set. A data output multiplexer in the device selects some of the read data bits according to a bit organization determined by one of the bit organization select signals.

    摘要: A method for controlling transmission data flow in a satellite communication system is disclosed. The current status is notified to a main board of a central station and to a main board of a terminal station in accordance with the flow control buffering status of a satellite communication board of the central station, and thus, the main board of the central station commands a starting or a releasing of a flow control to a subscriber board of the central station. In accordance with the flow control buffering status of the subscriber board of the central station, its status is notified to the main board of the central station, so that the main board of the terminal station can start or release the flow control. In accordance with the flow control buffering status of the main board of the terminal station, its status is notified through a satellite communication board of the central station to the main board of the central station, so that the subscriber board of the central station can start or release the flow control. Thus the system grounding-down due to the flow controls of the network factors and due to the user data rush is prevented.
