    摘要： A circuit for a home safety unit having an emergency light system for providing light in the event of a power failure or when a fire is detected, and a fire detection system for providing an audible alarm indicating the existence of a fire. The circuit includes a battery which is constantly being charged and a low voltage responsive system for indicating a low voltage condition on the battery. A latching system causes the emergency light to be turned off when this low voltage condition is reached, and to remain off until the battery is recharged.

    摘要： When turned to a locked position, a turn button causes the outside operating lever of the latch to be held against rotation so as to lock the door against entry from the outside. Turning of the inside operating lever in either direction to open the door causes the turn button to return automatically to its unlocked position to prevent inadvertent locking of the door. Automatic return of the locking button is effected through the coaction of a spring-loaded pin on the inside lever with a pair of shoulders on the inner face of the turn button.

    摘要： The present apparatus and method relates in general to sealing a hole in a floor with a precast plug. A precast plug is created by pouring a wet aggregate mix into a form mold and thereafter inserting a pre formed rod into the uncured mixture, positioning it such that the center of the rod rests in the center of the form mold and the ends of the rod extend outward near the top of the form mold. The mix is then cured. The precast plug may then be transported to the hole that it is destined to fix. Grooves may be carved on either side of the hole to accommodate the rod' s ends. The interior of the hole and the exterior of the plug may then be covered with a sealant, after which the plug may be inserted into the hole. Once the sealant cures, the hole is fully repaired.

    摘要： A glass substrate is for use in a WDM optical filter which has an optical multilayer coated on the glass substrate and is formed by glass which has a composition related to the optical multilayer so as to assure stable multiplexing/demultiplexing operation in the optical filter. The glass includes SiO2 as a glass network-former and has an average linear thermal expansion coefficient between 100×10−7/K and 130×10−7/K within a temperature range between −30° C. and +70° C. The glass may include TiO2, Al2O3, and R2O (R: alkali metal element) in addition to SiO2 and may have a hardness suitable for the optical multilayer.
